dunno9 about ur guys, but I would be concerned about playing anyone less than 6' 2" in central defense ... just watch any premiership game, and you would see that there are loads of high balls lobbed into the eighteen as a standard means of attack. So, no matter how good they are, sagna and diarra could struggle to play there.

Also, after watching yesterday's game, I am of the opinion that playing diaby in a defnsive position would be a waste .. the guy should be played in an attacking role. I now understand AW even suggesting he could play centre forward.

He was actually playing for Dortmund against Schalke.

Did you see the way he ghosted into space at the far post (something our forwards could learn from!)? And as for the finish - now that's real quality from Jens. Maybe the suggestion from Rebel to play him up front has more merit to it than I initially thought!
