And then there was one

It had to happen didn"t it. We are now down to just one regular centre half after the sending off of Senderos. The loaning of Djouro to Birmingham didn"t make any sense at the time now it looks plain stupid. At the Lane we will have to play Gilberto at centre half and weaken the midfield or play Sagna there if fit.We shouldn"t have got ourselves in this position in the first place. We need four centre halves at the club at all times

Looks like justin Hoyte might get a nod from le Boss.
Also im pretty sure Arsenal will appeal againt the dismissal of Phillipe Senderos! In my books, and by the looks of things Wengers books, that was never a sending off.
I watched it on MOTD2 again last night and even the commentator sounded shocked, he thought he it was only gonna be a yello.

Will Le Boss use Diarra do you think?

Maybe Diarra at right back and Sagna at centre half.

Felt really sorry for Phillippe yesterday so soon after his goalscoring opportunity as well.

I suspect it would be gilberto to central defense .. sagna at right back, diarra in gilberto's midfiled position ...

READ SOMEWHERE THAT GILBERTO MIGHT NOT BE PLAYING IN THAT GAME AS WELL, BECAUSE HE IS REPRESENTING BRAZIL IN THE U.S.A. MIDWEEK AND WON'T GET BACK UNTIL FRIDAY EVENING!!

IF THAT IS THE CASE, AND GALLAS HASN'T RETURNED FROM INJURY, WE ARE GONNA BE PLAYING THE SPUDS WITH A SLIGHTLY WEAKENED DEFENCE. SAGNA OR HOYTE COULD POSSIBLY FILL IN AT CENTRE-BACK AND THE OTHER PLAY AT RIGHT-BACK, BUT IT'S CERTAINLY NOT IDEAL.

That's how it will go and after yesterdays oerformance they can play Flamini anywhere!!!

Swiss Phil is our only real weak link at the minute.

I see no problem with keeping Flamini at left back and slotting Sagna (if fit) into centre back, Gilberto going to the USA is not so huge a blow as centre midfield is the one position where we are truly spoilt for choice, my preference for a replacement for him is diaby, as he would be effective at breaking up the attack. from what i understand Diarra is capable of playing centerback if needed.

If it were the mousers manurinals of chavsheviks i would be more worried but it's only the scum after all.

I dunno what everyone is so worried about the next match is two weeks away, so gallas will almost certainly be fit, as should sagna be so we will have a full strength back four i think the real question will be which goalkeeper is played and what midfield we play.

Nah, Jens needs a goal, put him up front, he could get a hatrick against Spurs's defence.
