UNHAPPY?? MAKE A STAND. VS FULHAM
Keep a bit of perspective please.
Too many key players out of action for long periods has fucked the season up.
Whilst we could do with a couple more quality players they need to look at why we have suffered from so many injuries.
Despite that we are third in the most competitive league in the world.

Skyhigh ticket prices are due to mainly one factor. The players' salaries.selsdon wrote:Maybe it would be better if we were just a mid-table team (as we were for the majority of my 45 years of supporting Arsenal).
How would you describe us now then, challengers? Don't think so.
Expectations come with the second highest wage bill in the land and highest ticket prices in Europe.
They ripped the soul out of the club with the move on the proviso we'd compete with Europe's elite - we can't even compete in North London thesedays.
The move was Dein's brainchild. Yet he'll no doubt view himself as our kingmaker considering he introduced Usmanov/Kroenke to Arsenal...

What youth players apart from Cesc has Wenger made first team regulars? You can use examples from his whole time at Arsenal.
ermmm.......
Cashly..........!!!
Clichy...........!!!
and Mr ****.

His choice was a debt free move to Wembley actually - still, believe what you likeChampagne Charlie wrote:Skyhigh ticket prices are due to mainly one factor. Here's the full article:He also tackled the issue of rebuilding Highbury, although his bond scheme was initially ill-received by the fans.
Now he is set to drive through the new £400m stadium in nearby Ashburton Grove.

in all honesty since 2005, Wenger has not spent big.selsdon wrote:How do you judge success in the transfer markets? Trophies?
In that case he has a 100% failure record these last 6 yrs.
And since 2005 there is not one player purchased that i would rate as any of his best buys. Or player he's really developed.
in all honesty the best player post 2005 was Adebayour. (nuff said) lol.

blind support is more damaging than holding your team accountable. They haven't shown the passion the fans have so why should they receive our appreciation?olgitgooner wrote:Whatever happened to the old fashioned idea of supporting your team??
Sure, we're all pissed off at surrendering a two goal lead v Wigan. We're all pissed off at our recent lack of success.
But FFS appreciate what we do have at Arsenal.
Maybe it would be better if we were just a mid-table team (as we were for the majority of my 45 years of supporting Arsenal). That way, we wouldn't have high expectations. And we wouldn't get disappointed.
The idea of walking out before the lap of honour, is just disgusting.

It's known that the rest of board did not support him in the choice of Wembley so the Grove was the fall back position. Then they got rid of him - two fantastic choices that have served the club really well ever sinceChampagne Charlie wrote:And I quote:SteveO 35 wrote:His choice was a debt free move to Wembley actually - still, believe what you likeChampagne Charlie wrote:Skyhigh ticket prices are due to mainly one factor.
