Don't you think Gourcoff is the bollocks Vince? That guy is fucking quality - and my French Arsenal supporting mate also thinks so...and thinks diaby is a c**tVince wrote:Dont forget it's a 30-man squad, so there will be 7 out.
I think the team will be the same as in the last few games:
Henry(c) Anelka Ribery
Gourcuff
Toulalan L.Diarra
Evra Abidal Gallas Sagna
Lloris

With family from France who follow the french national team Domenech is considered an absolute joke and is doing exactly the same with france as Wenger is doing with Arsenal (i.e picking players because of the name rather than what they have done during the season). Mathieu Valbuena has been superb with Marseille this year and Domenech has been put under extreme pressure through the french press to pick him as it looked like he wasn't going to.... Nasri isn't considered that good in France as he can only really occupy the same position as Ribery so would never play.
Malouda is in brilliant form for Chelsea. Surely he'll force his way into the team, Vince? - along with Ribery & Evra, he's probably your best player.Vince wrote:Dont forget it's a 30-man squad, so there will be 7 out.

Abidal plays CB for France depending on the opposition. I do hope Clichy makes the cut, he needs this to make that final step.digger wrote:Doesn't Dominech pick his team based on players Starsigns??
Diaby is shit, I don't think he'd be in my 20 man Arsenal squad, let alone in the final cut for a team which is supposed to be one of the world cup favourites.
Dominech seems to be on a one-man mission to crush French football, and no-one at the FFF appears to give a shit. It's really weird.... surly L'equipe are giving him as much vitriol as the Sun gave Taylor and McClaren??
I'm surprised that Clichy is in the squad.... can't be too many international teams who pick three left backs.
To be honest Gourcuff had a poor season, his team hasn't won anything and they might not qualify for any european competition.marcengels wrote:Don't you think Gourcoff is the bollocks Vince? You might be right, but I dont think Domenech wont play Henry. He's the captain. So Malouda could play on central midfield which would be great because so far we've always played with Toulalan and L.Diarra in center midfield. And both of them only know how to defend (it's really far from what we see at Arsenal, in term of football).g88ner wrote: Malouda is in brilliant form for Chelsea. Or Malouda on the left and Henry up front, which is where he would be the best. Why not.
But I dont agree about Evra, I think he's poor defensively for a defender. And he's a *word censored* ...

Our best players at the moment? I think it's Lloris who is in the top5 of the best keeper in the world in my opinion. Then I'd say Ribery, Anelka and Henry. I still think Henry will do something special before retiring (I dont mean a handball ).

I caught a bit on the radio last night where a reporter was saying that Dunga is doing nearly the opposite with Brazil, picking players that have played well for him in the national side as opposed to playing well for their clubs hence Robiniho being included.CPHANMER wrote:With family from France who follow the french national team Domenech is considered an absolute joke and is doing exactly the same with france as Wenger is doing with Arsenal (i.e picking players because of the name rather than what they have done during the season). On a side note, why the outrage with Viera being omitted? He is a former great of this club but he's getting on a bit now and wasn't exactly outstanding this season and, as much as I don't like saying it, he was a bit of a *word censored* when we played City a few weeks back!
