there was a book open in the bookies to see who would be the first couple to split up out of the married england players but it was closed when gerrard was 8/11
seems one of the tabloids has some dirt on him and was waiting till the wc was over as not to be accused of treason by the british public

I got this earlier today
"Didn’t hear it from me………… but apparently Gerrard got his wife’s sister pregnant (not a 16yr old) and all the squad knew. JT was fuming that Gerrard got to get the armband with all this going on…. JT had an argument with Capello and Gerrard, divided the squad, ½ backed terry / ½ backed gerrard….
