It's idiots like you Daniel, that are as much to blame for todays result as the inadequate manager and the bunch of spineless players. And the highlighted text shows that quite simply you do not understand a single fucking thing about what today actually meant.DanielD wrote:If they were the better team and won, then I can understand your request (not that I agree with it), but we were the better team, we got to more chances, we controlled the play. They were shit and they won, we were good and we lost. That's fucking football!
I'm gutted and sick, I am on the verge of tears and feel like throwing up, but FFS, any other day, we would have won 4-0, we didn't and we lost, but we're still 2 points from the top, and sp*rs are still a shite side.
Stop that bullshit, we'll find our home form soon, and we can make this season better than the last ones.

Well that just isn't true. Remember losing a two-goal lead at Wigan just six months ago, losing 3-2? Or dropping a two-goal lead against Tottenham, at home, to draw 4-4?DanielD wrote:99% of the times we would have won this match
There's plenty of examples of us dropping comfortable leads in recent years. The fact that we've dropped two-goal leads at home to Spuds twice in three years is disgusting, and shows that we're not learning from our mistakes.

don't forget the 4-4 at Anfield, felt really sorry for Arshavin that night...you score four great goals and still fucking drawBring Back Pires wrote:Well that just isn't true. Calm down the "I'm a better fan than you" parade. You don't have more love for The Arsenal than me, or hate sp*rs more than me. You're a supporter just like everybody here, and you're gutted like me, but we don't agree on the Wenger issue.
I think that if you'd bring Tony Adams/Thierry Henry/Dennis Bergkamp/Charilie George/Pat Rice to manage the club we would crash and burn. Wenger as of this moment is the only man that can take this club forward in terms of financial thinking and playing style. Yes, he's shit at running games, he's frustrating in interviews, he doesn't sign big names, but he's currently the best manager this club can have. Do you have anyone in mind to replace him or you want to manage the club yourself?
Disagree with that one. Wilshire was poor in the last game whereas Denilson was fairly good, Wilshire picked up an injury in midweek and Denilson played well today. I agree with you on his breaking up the cb partnership and have to keep questioning why we defend so badly under him.Irish Gooner wrote: Drop our most in form player Wilshere, refuse to bring him on and play FUCKING DENILSHITE.
On the "resign issue", I would rather wait till end of season and then decide unless things reach a lot worse then this.
Agreed. But apparently we learned from our "defensive inefficiency" (quote GIC) from last year, and now show much more "maturity, intelligence and great mental strength".Bring Back Pires wrote:Well that just isn't true. The GIC.......King of Spin. You can fool most of the tourists all of the time, but you can't fool the majority of punters any of the time
In today's game we were in control against a shit sp*rs side with no defence, and than came the VDV goal and fucked it up. 99% is obviously exaghurated, but it's not that far.Bring Back Pires wrote:Well that just isn't true. Complacency + arrogance = defeat
These players do not have the right "mental strength" to win as Arsene is obsessed with pretty football not winning football matches.
He probably said nothing at all at half time - instead let them sit there and admire what they had done in the first half and think it was all over and just a question of how many.
"Intelligent players" - Not a chance.
As already stated we simply haven't learnt our lesson, Wigan, Liverpool, Spuds 2 years ago, you have to keep the pressure on, fight for every ball, win your challenges. That's what WINNERS do.

If today were an isolated incident, then I'd concede that it can't be our day every time. But a clear trend of dropping leads and bottling games has emerged. If you want to ignore it, then that's your choice. But most Arsenal fans now recognise that we don't have any mental spirit and can collapse at any given time.DanielD wrote: In today's game we were in control against a shit sp*rs side with no defence, and than came the VDV goal and fucked it up. 99% is obviously exaghurated, but it's not that far.

I'm not at all suggesting sacking Wenger, specially in the middle of a season but how do you know that there is no other manager out there who will do a better job at Arsenal than what Arsene is now?DanielD wrote:Calm down the "I'm a better fan than you" parade. He doesnt have to do all these things you mentioned - i would still have faith in him even if he sucks at making tactical changes. if he is frustrating at interviews or if he doesnt sign big names. But to see the team that he had created give one spineless performance after another, you have to question what is he talking to the players about after these performances.
I do agree that in the last two seasons, it's easy to comeback against Arsenal even if you're 2-0 down once you score the first goal. Today, we looked like scoring 5, rather than they scoring 1.Bring Back Pires wrote:If today were an isolated incident, then I'd concede that it can't be our day every time.
