TA on Goals on Sunday

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I know a bit of the basics.

My cousin goes to an all Irish school though.

And my parents can speak it reasonably well.

My grandmother is fluent.

I hear there are a few on the Aran Islands who can speak a small bit of Irish, is that true rebel???

HAs he fallen out with the club? Why? I did notice he wasnt at Highbury on the last day
Wouldn't his non-appearance on the last day at Highbury be because he was doing his duties with Pompey.

Pre-season friendly with Pompey?

There aren't many of the old guard still in football, other than Bould who is still with the Arsenal, so of course that's why they're still involved in all the pomp and ceremony of testamonials and what not.

Adams is in fact the only one who is otherwise engaged away from Arsenal.

Tony Adams was with Pompy at a pre season training camp (after all it is his job now) i would have loved to have seen him but the fact is he is Pompys assistnt coach so has a job to do, i don't think he has fallen out with Arsenal...For what..? I also think he finds it hard becuase he maybe misses what he had at Arsenal...After all he was MR ARSENAL!

Don't forget about Merson
He never showed up for the last game or Bergkamp testimonal (don't forget about BMW  )
Maybe the club never let them come because of the big party afterwards involing drink which both players fell heavly for in there Arsenal days as we know
