TA on Goals on Sunday

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

TA on Goals on Sunday

Post by Belfast Boy »

Big T just said on GoS that we were far and away the best team that they (Pompey) have played this season he said - "we drew against L'pool and ManU and when we when to Stamford Bridge we created 23 chances and should've got something out of the game, but Arsenal simply destroyed us with ten men, I was hoping that they'd get another one sent off to give us a chance  they pass they ball so well and are extremely powerful" fine praise indeed, don't ya think??? 8) :D

Of course I have to agree with him.....

But is he trying to build bridges after falling out with club? Is he biased (you bet!).

This may be self fulfilling. He wasn't at the last game (at Highbury   ) so everyone around me was speculating that he had had a big fallout. One person was convinced he had had a barney with le boss about something.

he hadnt fallen out with the club he just felt it was better to break all ties as he wanted a new start in his life :D
maybe now he realised that arsenal were such a big part of his life that he's edging back slowly

That's how people are going to feel about this forum

At least TA doesn't milk his Arsenal connections for all it's worth.

Its a strange one Rebel everyone who leaves the club (or anything else for that matter) starts a new chapter in their life but they dont need to totally break any ties with their past especially as it was so successful. Been meaning to ask what does the Gaelic signiture mean at the bottom of your posts Rebel?

There's an Irish pub in Melbourne called Pug Mahone's. Discreet message there?

Was in there quite a few times in the week I spent in Melbourne for the 2003 RWC. :)
