As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

My brother was ball boy at the Austria Wien match as part of about 5 matches on the trot as that is what they did then rather than the whole season.

The queue for the horse and carriages was a nightmare.
If he'd stayed, he would have seen the local village idiot (spurs boss) in the stocks getting pelted with tomatoes.

The last time the first team scored 8 in a game was 1 May 1948 v Grimsby at Highbury when we won 8-0.
I've seen us win 12-0. It wasn't against Charlton reserves on 21 September 1985. A magnificent performance with Chris Whyte playing at centre forward scoring a hat-trick in the first 10 minutes and going on to score 6 in total. I remember Michael Thomas playing left back and beating 3 players without touching the ball.
A couple of my mates went to a game against Winch Wen from Wales in the early 1990s whic we won 16-0. They were pretty much a pub team.

Highly unlikely - only 600 people were there

Our lowest first team home attendance ever. The lowest ever away attendance saw our biggest defeat. Ironic or what?

Doubly ironic!
