The who's giving up their season ticket thread?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This was from last year Booms.

Presumably doesn't take into account the VAT increases - so current prices will be a little more.

Really gets at me that away fans take up such a big share of the lowest priced tickets, although realise that they will only get a majority of that share for cup games.

Thinking about seeing if I can get somebody to come in and share mine and my brothers tickets with us, dont want to give it up as we have only just started picking up away credits.

I'm now at 1662 on the ST waiting list

I wonder how many people are offered each year? I thought I was 8000+ this time last year. Would prefer a silver to be honest but have no idea where I am on that list.

Took myself off the list a long time ago and last time I had one was in GG's day.

I admire those that are still prepared to give the club a wedge of their cash a year in advance; my Dad's had two season tickets for decades and will gladly part with another couple of grand this Summer.

Much prefer the 'freedom' of Silver membership anyway. Can get the family into almost any home game I choose for £100 without being tied into committing to the same seat week after week. Suits me if I want to go to other games with mates etc, and sit in a different part of the ground. For what it costs each year it just strikes me as a much better option than season ticket...

I've got two of the buggers and absolutely love this time of the year.....NOT

Remind me, if you give up your ST and you're not on any other list or membership, do you go back to the lowest of the low i.e. Red Waiting List or Red Membership?

I'm hoping one of them have it, if they don't I'm going to try to drop down to Silver, courtesy of my 'A' bond and get rid of the ST. I've really torn myself up trying to decide what to do for the best. I'm being made redundant in November, so that tied with the fact that I hate Wenger and his bullshit so much means the ST has to go. As I've said before, I've had the ST for 31 years so it's not an easy decision but it shows just how angry and disappointed I am with Wenger and the board. I've just had enough.
you really do not make any sense.

give up your season ticket of 31 years please, someone else will have it but, please dont pretend that this last few years have been the most frustrating.

do you remember Chris White, Gus Ceaser, Andy Linnigan, Colin Pates, before that Jeff Blockley, Terry mancini.

no long term gooner can pretend that we have been anything but spoilt silly under Wenger. those that call for his head can only be very recent in our ranks!!!

Go down to red unless you hold a bond I think.
