I dont know about you guys but i just want to see something a bit new. I can honestly stomach not winning trophies to an extent but watching the same players bottle it year after year gets me depressed.

I want some new bottlers! 8)

The thing is, would the club really have cesc in the 125 kit media shots if he was going?

Lack of form / fatigue is due to the wc imo. He needs time off and a good pre season.

People just assume he would get into the barca team, i doubt he would and think he isnt going to go to bench warm

thoughts??

Yes agree that he would have to wait a while to be a regular in the barca side, maybe a couple of years even as I have said before on here.

The wc thing doesn't wash with me though, how many games did he start in? (sorry that's a rhetorical question, the answer is none).

He only came on in 4 of their 7 matches so I don't think it can be due to the wc.

He could just have developed a problem with his hamstrings which will affect other parts of his body if he plays with them when they are tight.

So maybe just a long summers rest could be the answer or maybe he will suffer problems with them for the rest of his career ala owen, hope not.

My fears are that Cesc's hamstring problems are not going to get any better and that we are better off getting the wonga for him while we still can and rebuilding the team around RvP and a proper CF.

I understand the irony of replacing a crock with RvP but at least when RvP is fit he is fit and we have players like ramsey waiting in the wings to deputise for him.

Of course they would. If they didn't we'd be saying the opposite! "Why isn't Cesc in the 125 year kit". They have to keep the status quo otherwise we'll smell the rat.

Time will tell.

DB10, will ya really make my post a sticky? Will ya? Will ya? :)

It's a win-win situation for me, if he stays great, if he goes Arsene will have £35m odd to splash out on new signings.

Anyway Oleary why are you fretting so much, once Cesc leaves the tabloids will be telling us Nasri or Jack are off next

We are a selling Club after being at Emirates, period!!! Didn't Mr. Twitch say something like that, if it's utd, chelsea or liverpool, they will not sell their best players!!! FFS, though I don't like him, I have to agree with him on this one, we are labelled as a selling club!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

There is word going round that Arsenal have had a bid for Ribery accepted and we are in contract talks with him. This information comes from the apparent same source who predicted the Squillachi signing and apraently this word comes from Ribery's agent (who is also Nasri's and Squid man18ks agent)

Fucking Ribery really? He's been a revelation recently hasn't he? Another French fondent on the wings. Just what we want.

Hugh you are right, if Cesc goes it will be someone else next summer. Sad but true.

The reason United and Chelsea keep their top players is because when United / Chelsea win things they still go out in the close season and strengthen further.

If true that spells one of three things will be taking place:

-Arshavin is on his way out
-Nasri is on his way out
-Walcott is becoming a CF
