Nasri

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Listening to the Monday Night Football Club on 5 live tonight and McGarry said that his 'good sources' had told him today that Nasri's Agent has informed both United and City that Nasri is staying with us next season. What he couldn't confirm is whether he'd agreed to a new contract or more worryingly whether we were happy for him to stay and hope that he signs during next season.

I'm unbelievably sick of all this bollocks. Really really fucked off with football at the moment.

What irritates me, and I mean really irritates me as that Wenger is so fucking anal about spending good money be it signing or extending contracts on older players because of no sell on value yet he is happy to keep a player who wants out and allow him to walk for free writing off 20m, it defies logic.

Make up your mind, I would be stunned if Kroenke stands for this nonsense.

If he don't sign sell the fucker, we can't carry one player that can't be bothered, two is a disaster waiting to happen.

What I don't understand with both Cesc & Nasri is that they have not got 'buy out' clauses written into their contracts. If they had we wouldn't be going through this silly charade.

Wenger seemed confident he will stay next season, but that he wont be signing a new contract.

Well I suppose its better than selling him to a rival club, but again more shitty rumours throughout next season is not what we want.

I dont really like Nasri much anymore, but if we sell to City/United or Chelsea we really will be seen as a small time club.

Don't agree, sell him and buy Mata for example then who comes out smelling of Roses?

Too much importance is being placed on keeping a bunch of bottle jobs at the club, we can't moan when they lose 4 goal leads then shit it when its time to get rid and move forward, keeping them is not moving forward.

Before anyone says that they are our best players, so what, we are a team of losers, change it up.

I see what you mean, but there are 15 players I would sell before Nasri, he is one of our best players.

Selling one of our best players to United/Chelsea basically raises the white flag before we even kick a ball.

Mata no matter what is not proven in this league, for all we know he could be another Reyes.

If it comes to a decision like that, I would far rather keep Nasri, then even more humiliation losing a player to the other "big" clubs.

Think about it like this, would the "big 3" sell one of their best players to us? No way jose. Similar thoughts were echoed when we sold our last top class talent "Cashley" to the Chavs, that did not turn out to move us forward.

There are indeed 15 more players but apart from van Persie and Wilshere our so called best players proved to be spineless wankers that went awol after Wembley, Nasri is more accountable than Diaby as we expect better.

Fergies has just ruled himself out of the Chase saying he's agreed to go elsewhere, let's hope common sense prevails as we will need the funds to replace him.

To your last question, I don't care about other clubs, I care about this one and losing one of our buyable players and not having the money so he gets replaced with an unbuyable player, when you look at it like that then swallowing your pride is not an issue.

Just think about Diaby becoming the main man for a second....

Sell the *word censored* if he doesnt sign a new deal by friday - scratch that idea and just sell the *word censored* anyway cos he has done fcuk all over the course of 3 yrs with us and now wants to fcuk off or get wages beyond his capability. It is about time this club grew a pair and told players like nasri, the citeeh reject before him and the judas chav *word censored* before him that the club is their bosses and they will decide when it is ok for them to join other clubs instead of these mercenary *word censored* trying to dictate whats what - *word censored* the lot of them

Full Quotes from sir alex:

"I think he's agreed to go somewhere else. Maybe he has to stay at Arsenal too. That's a possibility."

But of course the last part, is not such a convenient quote, so the likes of SSN and Daily Mail leave it out.

The press just love winding people up.

What would fergie know anyway, unless he has a snitch at the arsenal.

Missus: 'heard it all before, i'm off'

Me: 'ok u can go, but please stay for a year until i sort myself out'

Missus: 'Ok, one more year, then i'm off'

Seems Fergie says that Nasri won't be joing United as he has agreed to join another club.

If he has turned United down to go elsewhere it is only because the greedy little fucker wants more money as 90 grand a week is not enough.

As has been said he aint done much for us in his 3 years so sell him and get some players who have some bollocks and want to play for the club....................................and don't wear poncey scarves when playing football.

Fucking tart.

When Kroenke bought out the shares he needed to become outright owner Wenger gave him the public ok. Thats how fucked up things at Arsenal are
