Nasri

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nasri

Post by supergeorgegraham »

Im sure there are loads of posts on this before but I want to make my point. Nasri wanting to leave us for United means that he no longer believes Wenger can lead Arsenal to success.
IMO Van Persie is our best player followed by Nasri so this will be a massive loss.
I think its true to say that under this board and manager Arsenal are finished as a top team.
Dein and Usmanov are the only way forward but that will never happen.
Enjoy spending your hard earned cash !

Do you feel better now that you've got your message across in your very own thread? :banghead:

i fail to see how he's a *word censored* just because he wants the top dollar that he's worth. he's not from london, nor was he brought up through the arsenal system. the board/wenger are being total penny pinchers. if you want to compete with the best you better spend with the best.

now if arsenal were winning titles year in and year out, and he wanted to go somewhere else that wasnt winning anything for more money, then he would be a *word censored*. but he wants to go to a winning team with better pay. i dont see the problem. blame wenger.

Worth top dollar.....really?

Because he played well for half a season?

From what I understand he's on around 60-70 grand a week already, imo that wage is about rite for his talent.

Is Nasri worth 100 grand a week.....never.

If he goes for whatever reason thats his business but unless they have a clear affinity to the club they are just workers for a firm. Fans emotionaly invest in the club players dont.
If he is off lets all cheer on the next badge kisser.

Problem is we are paying players like Diaby 50-60 grand a week.
That is paying over potential and some. Nasri is well within his right to ask for twice the amount we pay Diaby cause he is twice the player.

Nasri is worth £100k a week as long as Wenger gives £60k a week contracts to useless *word censored* like Diaby and Denilson. Clubs are queuing up to pay £20m plus for Nasri how many clubs want to buy the Chuckle Brothers? one minus one

I am not a Spurs fan and Im a massive David Dein fan because he was amazing for Arsenal.
Ever since he left things have gone downhill. I dont trust Kronke and I dont understand Wenger. I dont understand a manager who replaces Silvestre with Sqiuiallci. Yes I cant even spell the crap players name.
I just wanted to point out that maybe Nasri is sick of our defending as much as all Arsenal fans should be.
I hate whats happened to Arsenal and its not just about winning its about desire to play for the club and Wenger made a massive mess of his youth experiment.

Yes - Dein was an Arsenal fan but in the same right his passion sometimes blinkered his views.

Permanently moving to Wembley?

I think you need to realise that it was Dein that brought Kronke to the club in the first place and got the boot for doing so.
He then fronted Red & White group and brought Usmanov into play.

So this power battle for the club is Deins own doing.
