Where will we finish now?

6th, maybe 5th at best. We just don't have the cover for key players. Liverpool will get 4th. The Manchester clubs and Chavs are wayyyy ahead of us. We'll be fighting with Spurs and Stoke for 5th and 6th. I think Stoke will have a very good season.

I think we will end up as 5th behind City, ManUtd, Chelsea and Liverpool.
Maybe we will get Liverpool and finish 4th! :D

3rd-4th. If Jack gets himself fit and we go on a bit of a run which is possible I could see us doing well. I thought Liverpool were shit when they came to us, looked like a Houllier team. As Patrick Barclay noted, that game was a draw until a 19 yearold making his debut got sent off.

Tbh I still think we'll win the league, I always do, can't help it. What;s the point otherwise??

hopefully top half. it really doesn't matter because we won't challenge for the title with wenger here and CL football keeps his job secure.

That bad? They've started well but some of that is maybe down to them starting pre-season early due to the europa qualifiers. They've got some far-flung aways in their group as well I think. If they challenge our league position in any way shape or form this season that's a sackable offence in itself.

4th-6th is us, scum, liverpool, in any order. Think the mousers are being massively overrated right now but I'd still make them favourites for 4th - partly cos of no European commitments.

I can also see us gettng 6th at least, even though it took an 8-2 destruction by Man Utd to finally address the need for new defenders, creative midfielders and a new striker I would like to hope we can finally start winning matches and showing some passion and competitivness.

I dont understand some of u guys, i like to read and not write, but i could not resist. Where we will finish? I know for sure in top 4.
As about spuds, they have some quality players but they dont want to play for spuds, they used spuds as a bridge and they failled to cross that bridge, i want se spuds as a threat.
Liverpool, yes they defeated us, but they dont have style, technique nor ability to compete, their game is poor, they were poor last season asvell, i think the poorest in years, they did not deserve te defeat us, they had luck of our situation, otherwise this team of youngsters can beat them anytime of the day.
Manutd, city and chavs are hard to compete with, but we do have team to do that, i strongly beleive in that, and i also beleive that our fans are pissed and frustrated as never before, but i also beleive that deep down inside of you each one has what it takes to support this team to compete with this top 3 because that's what this team needes to be back on track.
PLayers anytime they go to field thay fill faulty, thay are living with that, and only we who stand in those stands can take that from them by supporting them as never before, let them fill the warmth of the gooners, make them fill like home, maybe every game they expet us to boo them because they sucked couple of games and let us down, but lat's change that, lat's make them fill forgiven, lets get the top four, and we have a big part on it.
I cant se nor beleive us not to be part of top 4, so please let's do our part at make it happen.

I say 3-5th. I'm also getting annoyed with all this media talk and praise about liverpool as if they have alread finished top 4. They also make it seem like they've put together some type of galacticos squad with their recent signings 2nd tier signings. Suarez has been impressive imo but no one else has, and they also just sold they most usefull player from last season. They signed fucking downing and henderson but make it seem like they beat everyone to get hazard and gotze.

Until we have seen how our new recruits settle in it will be hard to tell what we are capable of..
I think the key player will be Mertesacker, if he settles quick and takes to the premiership like a duck to water, that willl have a huge impact on not only our defence but on the team as a whole...
I'm expecting him to not only organise that defence but to start instilling a much needed drive and winning mentality in to the rest of the team.. A good start for him will give him the confidence to do that from the off..

As a guess in advance of seeing our new boys impact on the side, i would go for 4th for us..
I don't think Liverpool are all that and i don't think Dalglish is anything but a decent manager with a mish mash of players that he will have trouble moulding in to a set cohesive team, i think they will be battling it out for 5th and 6th with Spurs...

If Citeh were not in the CL i would be sure they would win the title this season, maybe even comfortably...But with CL football to contend with i think they will be in a close battle with United for the title, Citeh edging it..

Chelski i'm not sure about this year, they have a strong squad, but so far they haven't impressed me and i think if our new boys settle well we could usurp them for 3rd..But at the moment i'll give them the benefit of the doubt due to them on paper being much stronger than us, and put them in for a 3rd place finish but some distance off winning the title and not that far ahead of us..

1.Citeh
2.United
3.Chelski
4.Arsenal
5.Spurs
6.Liverpool
