The simple fact of the matter is that Wenger is trying to play football suited to La Liga in the Premier League. The training methods and conditioning is to allow players the speed and skills necessary to play tippy tappy. When a big bruiser from Stoke, Blackburn, even United come steaming through the back of a player, they are inclined to get injured.

We need to start playing in THE PREMIER LEAGUE again.

Great post. Agree entirely, but Wenger's still desperately trying to build his castle in the sky.
