Yes, I believe you're right DB...Someone was doing a marathon run (and no it wasn't hlebby with the midnight munchies! ) - for a very worthy cause - (and neither it was it a dictionary for Boomer! )..and contacted Arsenal FC about the possibilty of getting a shihrt signed by the team etc...and were told that the number of 'charity donations' such as signed shirts, balls etc was limited to a very few, as they have so many requests....Even so it is still worth a try, maybe if you could also contact the local (Finsbury/N5) Fire Station they might be able to help in some way, there's bound to be a Gooner or two there!?


Also, it might be worth a (cheeky) punt and tweeting jack Wilshere and any other AFC players on tweeter etc, and ask them if they can help...ei: so they might be able to put in good word at Arsenal Media Dept for you... ..you never know...
