FAO safctm (regarding away fans at the SOL)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

safcftm is one of the best posters on here and he has been for as long as I can remember. Our relationship with Sunderland goes back years - I remember the away match at Roker Park in May 1991 (just before we won the league!) when the Mackem fans lined the streets to cheer our coaches out of town after the match. OUR coaches (the supporters) not the Team Bus. They are a great bunch and don't forget that their previous Chairman Niall Quinn is an Arsenal man.

So there you have it - Sunderland = a cracking bunch of lads AND Arsenal did win trophies before Lord Wenger turned up!! :lol:
