blame game v boro

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I understand where you are coming from mk but there are serious concerns with the size and quality of the squad that cannot and shouldnt be ignored because we are top of the table with 6 months to go.This "reserve" side you refer to is made up of players who have yet to prove they are good enough to play for a side challenging for trophies + of course bert who gold love him has ran his course at Arsenal now. Again it comes back to the whole potential thing that we seem to have an abundance of but on the flip side we are short of quality players to step up to the plate right now. By sticking solely with this young squad (with great potential of course  ) we are sacrificing the here and now which considering the start we made, which has been better than some of us expected, is a total waste. When fans renew their season tickets they are not given a discount because we are planning for next season or the season after and neither the fans, players or club should ever dismiss a season like that - we should want to win here and now cos We Are The Arsenal

I've not seen Gilberto pull off a performance worthy of at least 5/10 all season! He's got to go in January I'm afraid.

Blame is squarely on Wenger for this one, we were ripe for the taking playing the same side as against Newcastle!

As said above, 2 holding midfielders?????! What are you thinking!!? Southgate must have soiled himself when he saw the teamsheet!! Not even Derby are frightened of our defending prowess!! We are an attacking side who scare the crap out of teams with our threat so they are too scared to commit more than one person out of their own half for fear of getting caught! Newcastle and Boro however had no worries whatsoever!! Slow arse Adebayor who hasn't learnt the offside trap and slow Arse Bendtner who's too lazy to make the runs! They were free to relax and play the game how they wanted too. Very annoyed at AW for this one. Should have had Theo and Denilson on from the start

Poor game from our team, but somehow i had the feelling we will lose thia one after i read coments from Arsene and Adebayor. Somehow it was like preparation for fans for this lost. Also the performance from the players, and all i mentioned above make me think: IS THERE SOMETHING FISHY GOING ON.
