and you've done what exactly?clockender1 wrote:that time is now isn't it ? - especially if you want to put pressure on the club to perform now.SWLGooner wrote:AISA will raise this when the time comes
if you wait until May, the club can argue that they need the revenue to rebuild for 2013...whereas pressure now and the threat of lost match day ticket revenue can motivate the board to spend now.
no offence SWL, but it seems to me that these AISA/BSM chaps are pretty piss poor at organisation.

I go whether they are good or bad, rain or shine, always have done, always will.
I have however, not bought a drink or burger in the ground since about 2003, due to rising ticket prices ( my first one in 1995 for the ClockEnd was 130 quid).
And as I hate that mickey mouse travesty of a crest they imposed on us, i have never bought any Arsenal gear with it on, nor will it.
As i said earlier, there's no point bitching in June when we're in the Europa league. By then it's too late.
I didn't renew this year and i am currently very happy with that decision. I have access to Silver membership but haven't been this season.SteveO 35 wrote:My view is......
stop letting Gazidis and the goons keep mugging you off every Summer, charging you higher prices for a lower quality product whilst telling lie after lie about how we're going to be busy in the transfer window.
How about the radical step of not renewing and letting the weasle-faced runt worry about having to come up with some proposals of his own as to how to win back support, address ticket prices and other fan concerns.
I don't miss it because I know I would still be sitting at each game getting even more depressed with the predictable tactics and substitutions, sub-standard players and Wenger looking like a character from" One flew over the Cuckoos nest"

pointed out that they are a) reactionary and not pro-active, and b) can't organise a fuck in whorehouse.Reg Niseth wrote:

I mean, where were they when some of us opposed the move from Highbury, arguing that the long term loyal crowd at The Arsenal was 26-28,000, and a move to a 60k stadium would be to a soulless bowl full of JCL's and day trippers ?
nowhere that's where, then they told us "it's the future, the club can't compete otherwise"
well this is that future.
congratulations

Yeah I gave up my ST this year and won't be renewing until Wenger has gone. My hate for Wenger far outweighs anything now as I truly believe he is causing very serious damage to the club, therefore I will no longer buy tickets on my silver membership either. I realize my hate for him is possibly over the top but I genuinely do feel he is not only failing in his job but putting AFC in a position they will struggle to come back from. He'll go down in history alright, but maybe not just for winning the doubles and Invincibles!

so I ask again, what have you actually done to organise anything?clockender1 wrote:pointed out that they are a) reactionary and not pro-active, and b) can't organise a fuck in whorehouse.Reg Niseth wrote:

What did you actually do to oppose the move? I don't recall protest marches, calls for boycott's etc. If you did all these then you failed to get your message across to the rest of us.
I never wanted a move. I miss Highbury every day. I don't go anywhere near as much as I used to.
Problem is there are many that talk the talk but very few that will walk the walk. How much organising do you think is needed? If very little can I suggest you organise something and then we'll all follow. But you're coming across as someone that wants others to lead and you follow and then criticise.
If not, then get involved. Send me a pm and we'll arrange a meet to see how you can help. The BSM has successful people behind it and they don't make rash decisions.
the final touches to a campaign are being organised as I write this, but nothing will be released until i's have been dotted an t's crossed.
Criticise all you like but if you really want to achieve somehting get off the pot.

you mean when its too late?SWLGooner wrote:Two points:
Don't see why you lump AISA and the BSM together; don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for the BSM and indeed went on the 'You Are My Arsenal' walk, but AISA and the BSM in general focus on different issues.
To raise this issue before it is a reality would be pointless.
It make absolute sense now...attack the fa cup shit as a
platform to make the sesason ticket for
competitions the club takes seriously.
I didn't renew this season and I won't lie it's due to being too skint to pay for 2 season tickets, didn't even bother going silver when I saw what was going on in August.
I'm glad I did and will see if we get our act together properly in the summer before I do anything.
If they put EL as part of the cup games it will make the decision an easy one for me :finger:
