Just think that all that money is going towards all those world-class signings that we will no doubt buy this summer. This is the summer of super, super quality.
Re: cost of Silver membership goes up again
Steve O has long since stated that we should all give up renewing our memberships but I just cannot ever see enough fans backing that idea to make a difference
Again I come back to the role of ast, aisa and redaction who all claim to be representing us fans in 1 guise or another and I ask what exactly are they saying or doing about this ? They dont seem to have noticed the fact that all these bullshit coffee meetings are just a charade and are getting the fans nowhere so why dont they join together and lead an organised boycott of all renewals ? Do they honestly feel that they are getting enough scraps from ivan's table to merit staying cosy with the club ?
We have three more games, with one of them at home, and these games should be used to send a real strong message to ivan and his walmart buddy that they are taking the piss and we aint gonna take it anymore
Surely between the 3 organisations they could get fliers printed up and handed out at the norwich game asking fans to stick together and boycott renewals ?
Say what you like about the "ultra's" in italian football but they sure as hell dont allow themselves to be taken for a ride by their clubs or the players
I'm sure many of you would have seen the protests at the genoa game the other night where the game was held up for 45 mins as a result of protests from the fans and all bar one player was made to take off their jerseys cos the fans felt that they were not worthy of wearing their teams shirt - thats what I call passion for your club as opposed to independent shows of protest from the odd fan or worse again, no protest at all and just bending over for the modern arsenal to take liberties season after season

What is the benefit of having a membership when 95% of games now go to General Sale?

Redaction, don't make me laugh, they're as useful as a chocolate ashtray on a motorbike, if they're not licking the arsehole of the club they're doing precisely bugger all for the fans, they should be called Rednonaction.augie wrote:Steve O has long since stated that we should all give up renewing our memberships but I just cannot ever see enough fans backing that idea to make a differenceAgain I come back to the role of ast, aisa and redaction who all claim to be representing us fans in 1 guise or another and I ask what exactly are they saying or doing about this ? So what are we gonna do about this? Or shall we all moan on here and then "reluctantly renew" as usual?

They know all silvers will renew so they don't give a fuck... but where is the limit??? Membership now costs as much as a ticket to the game!?!?!?!

I think you've answered your own question DanDan_85 wrote:So what are we gonna do about this? Or shall we all moan on here and then "reluctantly renew" as usual?
Gooners not renewing their memberships is about as likely as me taking the lead from some shaven headed Serbian fella with a megaphone

Re: cost of Silver membership goes up again
The vast majority will still renew their STs and memberships, and Kroenke Inc. will carry on raking in the dough.
Missing out on the CL is the only thing that will stop it, because whilst unbearable from a fan perspective, it will create the perfect storm because these dozey fuckers have put together inflation busting renewal prices with the assumption the ground will sell out every week. Look forward to paying £38 to watch us play Shamrock Rovers on a Thursday night.....I think not

£38 is a bargain compared to what I paid to watch the AC Milan game, was just over £70 for the end.SteveO 35 wrote:The vast majority will still renew their STs and memberships, and Kroenke Inc. will carry on raking in the dough.
