cost of Silver membership goes up again

cost of Silver membership goes up again

Post by g88ner »

It doubled in price last season to £39, now it's £45 Lite and £55 Full.

And all for the "privilege" of buying overpriced tickets to watch an underachieving team

Ridiculous. No doubt Reds aren't any better value either

:cussing:

Membership should be £20/£25 max. Scandalous.

I'm a ST holder so don't have a silver membership but i have to say the cost of the silver and red memberships are a fucking joke. £45 to have the "privilege" of maybe getting a ticket. Fucking scandalous.

As scandalous as there stupid box gifts they hand out each summer with a load of tat in'em. We don't even have a say in that, you're gonna have it no matter what. How much does that add on to the cost of a ST.

Disgraceful. no doubt as they haven't increased the ticket prices they thought this was a good way round that by increasing the cost of membership for all and sundry.

After 10 odd years on the red membership list paying for the privelidge each season once you get to silver it should be free - after all you have probably spent £300 odd quid to become a silver member.

Good Old Arsenal :banghead:

That's the thing. I have 2 silvers to pay for as I treat my brother every year, so that's £90 for, as you say, the privilege of MAYBE getting a ticket.

And when you miss out on games like Barca at home (last season) after watching teams like Wigan and Bolton, you do wonder why you bothered.

I know the answer is to just not pay it (I can almost hear steveo typing that out right now  ) but in reality, I will pay it as if I lose my silvers, I'll never get them back as the waiting list is just silly.

I'll be doing my bit to try and dent Kroenke Inc's cashflow once more by renewing and then not purchasing any tickets with it, so they have to wait an additional month to go on sale to red members (no not just that one :D )

There will be more than enough disillusioned STs I know that will give up a dozen or so games despite paying out some ridiculous fee once again

Before I became a season ticket holder I used to pay a cheaper version where I didnt get the box of sh*t as there was three of us in our house all getting the same crap, assume you cant do this anymore?? Used to be some thing like £20 instead of £35 for full membership.

Funnily enough when we did finally get offered a season ticket it was after we had already renewed our reds, thieving b@stards!!

I received my email about renewing, as I am just under 6,000 on the season ticket waiting list what happens if I renew my red membership and get offered a season ticket, or does this mean I am not high enough to be offered one?
