Paul Robinson 2nd choice keeper???

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bar being homegrown, what more can he add to the table that flappy can't? Too shit to put Chesney on his toes imo.

During which point of Robinson's 60+ goals conceded against us did people decide they'd like to sign him?

Perhaps the thinking is that it could work on a psychological level i.e. by facing Robinson at our training ground every day the players could carry on the habit and would thus gain extra confidence in their shooting and goal-scoring? :barscarf: :barscarf:

(Mind you, with Almunia and Fabianski there already and no visible sign of improvement in our shooting it probably makes that particular theory seem unlikely to work)

My granddad could do a better job in goal than Robinson and he was cremated two years ago.

I hope people aren't seriously suggesting that Almunia, Fabianski and Mannone represent better back up options

Surely not?
