And Henry hasn't?Supagoon wrote:he is certainly theirs.
I certainly don't consider him on the same level as Thierry. Vieria has always looked out for number one.

Yeah but at least his name was easy to spell.QuartzGooner wrote:And Henry hasn't?Supagoon wrote:he is certainly theirs.

Vieira's comments
Sorry if this has already been posted.
Viera has come out and said Wenger will lose RVP then Walcott and Wilshere, and it will be his fault.
Just wondering what you all make of this?
Personally I agree with him 100%. Viera should be with us, not Sh*tty.

Re: Viera's comments
Wasn't it Bergkamp who said that Vieira desperately wants to work for Arsenal but Wenger won't have it? Not enough of a yes man I guess...
Re: Viera's comments
Paddy still feels hurt by his exit. If you read his book he admits as much - in his mind he committed himself to the club through his peak years and kept re-signing contracts and then was told by the club that they had received an offer from Juventus and felt "indifferent about it"
I think he'll always love the fans but there is definite soreness towards the management, so I'm not sure how we can treat his words.
Wenger's model does prove that when players reach very high standards that we are unable to retain them that is for sure

Yup! he is (as a player) an Arsenal legend, but he also flirted with transfer for a couple of seasons, and of course the year before he left he was about to sign for one of the top Italian teams - and on the eve of that he went to AW's house in tears coz he'd changed his mind at the eleventh hour....so when he uses the phrase ''felt indifferent'...he is smewhat not telling the whole story....SteveO 35 wrote:Paddy still feels hurt by his exit. and now he's doing his utmost to muddy the waters at Arsenal
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ign-837983
and maybe that's why they have employed him to act as a wedge to lure players to $hitty....but seeing as he is already a multi-millionaire and getting £5mill a year basic - with bonuses for every player he assists in signing to £hitty.!!

There is a programme for a Real Madrid champions league qualifier with his name printed on the team sheet thats how close he came to joining them one summer (cant remember which one exactly)OneBardGooner wrote:Yup! he is (as a player) an Arsenal legend, but he also flirted with transfer for a couple of seasons, and of course the year before he left he was about to sign for one of the top Italian teams - and on the eve of that he went to AW's house in tears coz he'd changed his mind at the eleventh hour....so when he uses the phrase ''felt indifferent'...he is smewhat not telling the whole storySteveO 35 wrote:Paddy still feels hurt by his exit. Re: Viera's comments
Vieira, who is in charge of football development at Manchester city, added: 'What is important for Robin is he wants to win trophies. Arsenal have to show him he can do it with Arsenal.
'The best way for them to get him to sign a contract is to bring players to the club who can show him the club are in the same line as him.'
I really can't see what is wrong with what Patrick has said. Isn't this what the vast majority of gooners have been saying?
If RVP leaves then there will be only person to blame - and it's not Vieira!!

I miss the days of Vieira and Petit in the middle of the park.
Christ how I used to love when Manu would lanch himself into a tackle. What a partnership.
Sorry for coming over all nostalgic.

I thought the sentence that preceded it was actually much more alarming.flash gunner wrote:Thats alright but i dont think Nos Talgic will be very happy, you dirty boyrodders999 wrote:I miss the days of Vieira and Petit in the middle of the park.![]()
