How far we have fallen.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'd say all in all we are well represented especially considering Sagna, Wilshire and Flappy.
Exactly. We are on par with most other teams and if Sagna and Wilshere were fit we'd have 9 going. Sometimes the Arsenal/ Wenger bashing gets on here is pretty illogical :banghead:
:high5:

I'm not here that long and I joined to learn more about The Arsenal especially from people who go weekly and maybe have some interaction about our favourite team in the world.
But it's actually depressing reading the posts. :( :(

Unfortunately, those other clubs haven't gone 7 years without a trophy, with their fans paying the highest prices in Europe...

So we've got more players going than United? and only 1 less than chavs and Citeh despite having Wilshere and Sagna injured?

Wow, with that in mind, what is the point of this thread? mindless Arsenal bashing?

I did wonder whether 7 players was as outrageous as the OP was suggesting, but wrongly assumed he knew what he was talking about. By his logic, United have fallen further than Arsenal!

As I said on page one... how many players we have going doesn't mean anything. The biggest sign we've gone backwards is that our players aren't as good as they were a decade ago. It's as simple as that.

That's what I was implying. I didn't even look at how many players other teams were supplying, just ours. Just looking at the list all the teams above us have won trophies consistently. International quality players means greater chance of success. We currently have less in our squad than we have had in previous years, therefore less chance of success, and less likely to attract better players. It could be argued utd have fallen further than us considering since 2008 they played in 3 champions league finals, yet this season didn't make it out the group stage and had an epic fail in the europa league. So, its not all doom and gloom.

Obviously, United haven't fallen further than Arsenal, but I get your point. 8)
