RVP from The Colney Creche to Carrington? Myles Palmer style

But let's be honest here, it wasn't very good.  As for his 'other stuff', if the book and ANR are an example of his writing, then I think I'll give them a miss. The truth is it isn't that difficult to write and publish a book. For fecks sake, even DB10 is doing so and we all know the rubbish he writes!!
Surprised you resisted the urge to use the pages as cig papers to skin up with... :o

Very good point. And Jordan is a best selling "author".

Funny, when I read that sentence back it keeps sounding like "Jordan is an ugly braindead slag". :rubchin:

Sorry, is there any likelihood that anyone could comment on the 'point' Palmer made and that this e-mail relates to, i.e. how will RVP adapt being in a dressing room of winners all of a sudden.

As for Palmer making this very point, sadly, I did not read anyone else on here making this quite interesting point!

I do not think RvP will have any problem adapting to another dressing room.

He has played for another club at senior level, and a national side.
Not as if he has only known Arsenal.

From a ramshackle start for us, he has developed into a focused and top level player.

Maybe that is because it's such an obvious one that some of us don't have the gall to write a few sentences about it and pass it off as if we're 'specially informed' or that it's a particularly 'interesting' observation in order to keep up the pretence that we're some sort of serious writer and football expert!!

If Gael "brainfart" Clichy can manage the transition from being a seriel underachieving loser with us to being a league title winner with Man City in a single season then I am sure that it would not be beyond Robin Van Perise to follow suit (wherever he ends up going to)

I fully expect other clubs get told how and where to defend, what the opponents weaknesseas are, how to exploit them and nullify their opponents strengths and at half time (or even before   ) get told to chnage things around if it is not working.

Our players get told - go out and play :(

Not read anyone else on here make this point. Maybe not quite as obvious a point as you would suggest.
And it is a far more interesting point than the yawnfest which is 'where will he go' and what do we now think of him' comments that clog up this forum when discussing RVP. Now that is a bore.

Now you are just repeating yourself.   As for any discussion on here being a 'yawnfest' for you, there is a simple solution, either write something interesting yourself or stick with the 'all knowing but rarely right' ramblings on ANR. Although given the fact that you thought the initial subject of RVP fitting in with proven winners was an 'interesting' subject and worthy of a thread of it's own, I don't hold out as much hope for the former as I do for the latter!!
