RVP from The Colney Creche to Carrington? Myles Palmer style

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

RVP from The Colney Creche to Carrington? Myles Palmer style

Post by A dallying Gus Caesar »

As has been pointed out by Myles Palmer on his blog, one of the key questions in relating to RVP possibly going to United, is surely, how easy is it to adapt to a new changing room, predominantely one filled with winners, such as that of Manures, when you have lived in the 'no challenge, losers inc' bubble of London Colney.

I wonder how long it takes players who make a move such as this to adapt to new surrondings, not just in a physical sense, but just as importantly, in a mental sense. Different responsibility and expectations of success. What a shock to the system this could be for Robin.

Oh... :rubchin: I get it.

If, for example, McDowell was a flea infested wino with herpes, then Myles would be a flea infested wino with herpes and a proclivity for sucking a crack ho's piss out of another wino's arse? Kinda like that, huh?

Always read Myles Palmer on ANR.

Gets "Transfer Scoops" wrong at times (then again, so do people called Frank) but offers insight on a number of things and is a good writer.
Gives readers the chance to air their views and replies.

It is a blog, so he writes as he thinks and that is what blogging is about.

I know because I read his Arsenal book. But let's be honest here, it wasn't very good.  As for his 'other stuff', if the book and ANR are an example of his writing, then I think I'll give them a miss. The truth is it isn't that difficult to write and publish a book. For fecks sake, even DB10 is doing so and we all know the rubbish he writes!!
