If we wanted to sign him in Jan we would have to pay a fee. Next July he'll be 32 and 7 months. He's still a top class FB but most people agree his powers are not what they were, so is it good business to pay 6 or 7 million a year to a 34 and a half year old? I don't think so.
That's the practical bit.
Personally, I don't worry too much that he shoots trainees and likes to keep his iphone in some unusual places, but the way he left us makes him a complete and utter **** and I don't want him back.
