Exactly. Sign him, make him a genuine No.1 contender to keep Chesney on his toes. Make him the keeper of choice for all the cup games. Isn't that a better option than having Dumb and Dumber taking £70k a week off the payroll between them and letting us down every fucking year
We need cover now saw Southampton picked up boric on a free only goalie I think is worth picking up now is Gordon and we need somebody quick we have the worst goalies in the league at the mo ..
Even spuds have four decedent keepers there books well three that would get into our team .
I play semi-pro and I literally think I'm better than Mannone. He's a clown. Possibly one of the best to have graduated from the Clown Academy that is our goalkeeper coaching system.

All top managers realise the importance of a top quality keeper, but not ours. I'm not an expert on keepers, but in recent times Steklenberg, LLoris, Freidel etc have been available at sensible prices but we rely on Mannone etc.
Rimmer - I don't know about his Arsenal days (thats why he only got one barscarf) but he was great for Villa.

Forget Schmeichel, Seaman and whoever, best keeper of the PL era in my book. Consistently class, I liked Lehmann but imagine if we'd have signed Given early 2000s.
lukic was v good. as was mad jens, but seaman still the best ive seen.
schwarzer should have been signed for the extra 50p and shez should have learned from him.
everyone disliked almunia, me included, however he was an ok number 2 (the issue was him being number 1), and he pissed all over the likes of mannone and flappy to be fair. had he not been on such a big wage, and had he not been made number 1 to push jens out disgracefully by AW, maybe we should have kept him as a number 2.
never good enough to be number 1 for us, but way better than the woeful mannone and flappy. stuart taylor, he with less composure than someone on fire, was better, as were bartram and lee harper.

Fantastic shot-stopper but lacking in presence and communication I reckon. Still 1 billion times better than Al, Flappy, Mannone though & better than Szcz too.
