What should happen to Serbia ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ethnic cleansing?

Okay, a bit out of the box, but is it any different to the imbecile supporters behaviour in the ground, when it is indicative of their national thinking/behaviour. Like racism in football in the UK 1970's was likewise a mirror of our society?

What should happen: Indefinite ban from international competition. Don't let them compete until they sort out the racism in their own league. A whacking great fine should be given aswell. The punishment should reflect their history with this. How often do you hear "Serbian fans" and "Violence" and/or "Racism" in the same sentence?

What will happen: England and Serbia get a £7000 fine for misconduct :banghead:

UEFA have made it more difficult for themselves by handing our constantly derisory fines (not even going to call them 'punishments') to other persistent offenders.

4 Serbia players and 2 England players banned along with a mega £65k fine and ONE whole U-21 match behind closed doors for Serbia.

Well done UEFA on another cracking decision on the road to eradicating racism :barscarf: :suicide:

When you compare that to Bendnters fine and ban for wearing Paddy Power boxers its sickening, UEFA will never take racism seriously and if I was a black footballer i would refuse to go out to countries like Serbia for international games.

No wonder Balotelli is so troubled and angry, the amount of disgusting abuse he has had to take throughout his short career has obviously fucked him up in the head.

Thing is every time you go to that part of Europe it's well-known there'll be racism from the fans and that fuck all will be done. UEFA's whole judgment didn't even mention "racism" once, just "improper conduct". How on earth can these *word censored* justify their existence? If a bomb went off at UEFA HQ tomorow I would laugh. They are a bunch of spineless wankers whose only positive action is to take 50% of tickets away from genuine fans for CL final.

Well that showed 'em didn't it UEFA !

A £65,000 fine and ordered to play their next U-21 game behind closed doors (probably would have attracted no more than 2000 anyway)

What a complete and utter fucking joke - basically allow the Serbs to carry on regardless. Pathetic and gutless

No. Balotelli is an arsehole. Nothing to do with race, racism, abuse or any of that. He is just an arsehole.
