CHELSEA AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

For me, this game is all about who scores first. If we do, then their fickle, wanky fans will ensure the atmosphere doesn't inspire a comeback. However, if they score first, then I fear a right hiding!!!

2 mad bastard managers who don't have the full support of fans or players, still expect the chavs to have quite a bit too much quality for our shower of second raters. 3-0

Both teams have a soft underbelly so I'd be amazed if there's a clean sheet for either team. Southampton proved last night how easily they can crumble and they are not the first team to have done that this season.

2-2 I reckon

A 1-2 Arsenal win thanks to a lucky goal from Giroud. Cue a small section of the away crowd singing about the Spanish manager "Juan Arsene Wenger" before being stomped on by a much larger section of supporters.

I've paid £59 for my ticket for this, so I remain hopeful one of the linesmen will ask the players to come over and wave to me in the Shed Upper. However my dad's senior ticket was only £25 so they probably won't bother with him.

we are doomed, expect plenty of calamity from our back line ensuring 2 or 3 tap ins for Ba/torres,maybe a goal for us to give us false hope,3-1 to them :(
i hope Pods exclusion last night was to rest him for sunday,we need his intelligence and clinical finishing sunday even if he does disappear for about 89 minutes per game

Ba played and scored against the Saints, I can see us getting a score draw just as Southampton did. 2 - 2

The last two seasons we've walked the line and just when you think we are dead we seem to come back to life, so I wouldn't be surprised if we win against all the odds, but I'll go for a score draw.

That was a super ironic and very nervous "Whoooo?" I reckon you'll find. Very enjoyable bowl the other night (at least where I go) replete with scathing disaffection, howling cynicism and gallows humour.

And Jacky Wilshere!

Which was nice.

Edit: Chavs? Postponed surely? A snowflake has been seen in the winter.
