They say even Torres will pass by our defence.
Just kidding, but Ba would score at least one to show Wanker what he's missing.
Oh yeah, I would like to see Poldi as ST on sunday, all our others "supposed to be" strikers are useless and he was rested today so why not? Riiight.. i'm not the one who spent 25years in coaching, what do i know :)

This ^^^

If ba was able to bag two against us at the grove a few weeks ago when he was playing in a poor geordie team then I dont want to think what he can do to us with mata, hazard and oscar creating chances for him

If Arse 'n' Nose plays Podolski up front as part of a 4-4-2 we will only lose 2-1. Or maybe draw 2-2.

If we go with the usual 4-5-1, we will lose 2-0. Ba for both their goals, because he's just not as good as anything we already have at the club which of course is why Mr Magoo didn't sign him. Yeah, yeah yeah, sure he's quality - but is he super super quality?

:suicide:

Oh, honourable mention to Diaby who will be off injured at half time as per.

I do hope that our big bully centre forward Le Chapman is available to start this one. I'm sure he'll have Terry and Ivanovic on toast.

High scoring draw. Both teams concede goals for fun but can score.

3-3

And our terrible, impatient morons behind the goal will cheer their team to the end like they always do, whilst those no history wankers that spent decades watching 2nd division football will boo off the current European Champions, League Cup semi-finalists, multiple cup winners and 3rd placed team.

Still we've got the worst fans in football. If we were like those lovely chaps at Liverpool that hounded Hodgson out within months, the no history wankers or the plastic Mancs that wanted Fergie out as recently as 2003 and again in 2006, then we wouldn't be so 'up tight' on the pitch and we'd be invincible once more

I detect a certain amount of defending our fans steve o and I'm not sure what that is over but on a seperate but related issue it is very hard to defend our fans for booing michu last night for doing nothing except score some goals against us in prior games

I am defending our fans against some of the misplaced moronic comments in the media by the likes of Patrick Barclay and the clowns on ESPN last nigh, and also by AKBs who bring up odd highlights like the booing of Eboue, the famous Arshavin on for the Ox substitution etc and infer that we are all a bunch of impatient morons that don't know how good we've got it. I watched the highlights when I got in last night and my wife was telling me how they'd been banging on about empty seats again at the Emirates. Yes, there was probably no more than 45k in the ground last night - fans that have paid a minimum £62 three days ago, and have the oh-so-cheap tickets at Chelsea this weekend plus two more midweek games (one cat A, one cat B) before the month is out.

Liverpool - who the media seem to jerk off over in terms of wonderful atmosphere and fans - by contrast booed off their team when top of the league under Benitez, were singing Dalglish's name 3 months into Hodgson's reign etc....and I can tell you in half a dozen visits to Anfield the 'home atmosphere' has been fucking shit every time. The Chavs are a fucking joke - an owner that's made a second division club more succcessful than they could ever dream of and the reigning European Champions, and they are booing substitutions and a game that ends in a draw. And I mean proper mass booing, not a few grumbles like at the Bowl

My point is that our fans have put up with 8 years of nothing, seen their spiritual home turned into apartments, have largely filled the ground week in, week out, have been served a diet of Denilson, Bendtner, Vela, Flappy etc whilst paying £50-£100 every week......and on the whole have supported the team and the goon in charge pretty damn well, in comparison to clubs that have had far more success during that period.

Liverpool got 22,000 for a League Cup game against Northampton in 2011, we had 47,000 against Shrewsbury. A crowd of 45k+ for a January midweek replay against Swansea (whose support was pathetic by the way last night) and people are highlighting it like its a big deal. Only United have a genuine bigger hardcore following than us. Not Liverpool, not the mythical great fans in the North East, not Man City, certainly not the Chavs, and not the jokers from up the road

I am looking forward to the day Rednose turns it in and what their fans reaction will be if they go as much as a single season without winning something. We might not have the loudest fans in the country (although all other PL grounds are sterile in the home ends too) but we certainly haven't got the worst or most impatient / fickle either

SteveO for at least 6 years everybody in the media ribbed us for the prices of our tickets and our lack of success/not won a trophy since 2005, making many jokes at the fans' expense. Now there's real discontent along these lines, huge factions in the media slam the fans who are voicing the same frustrations as they've been mocking us for for years now as impatient, or portray them as greedy or short-sighted. And then they still have the temerity to kick up a fuss about ticket prices and fit our last trophy into every article while maintaining that stance.

And I agree re Anfield, atmosphere at a lot of home games is generally no better than any other big club.

You mean... it wasn't just Man City fans who had to pay that?
