Match DVDS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

In answer to your question if you're an Arsenal member you can get the watch the whole game on Arsenal player. Maybe there's a way to download the video from there but as far as I'm aware the club don't do DVDs of standard games like that. You could always email them to find out though

PS All those wanting Wenger's head on a plate - please think carefully about the many lowly seasons prior to his tenure then tell me which manager would be able to provide the same level of consistent competitiveness with the same resources - be careful what you wish for.......

Are you a superhero or a pilot?

Are you Dorothy?

As for Wenger, you're right. I can't think of a single person who could .... blah, blah, blah. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
So I take it no one knows how to get a copy of the game.......
Ps quite a condescending lot aren't we. And very tolerant as well. I am going to enjoy this forum.

Thanks mate, I and my family if super heroes are Arsenal Australia members. I've contacted the club however they have no suggestions.
Cheers for your unique effort in responding to the actual question.

Just to really annoy everyone - I live in a beautiful seaside town called Redhead near Newcastle. A club for whom a play and am in my 36th season as a player and 10th as a coach. I am a member of the Newcastle Jets where the much lauded Emile Heskey plays and have had occasion to chat to the one and only Francis Jeffers when he played for us and shared my local gym a couple if seasons ago. Where in Australia are you heading to?

WA mate. Perth. Bruv has a T ball badges. Am gonna knock that out of them. Am taking 36 Arsenal footy shirts from '92 onwards. Kit the lads up and teach them a proper game.
Am looking for a good Gooner connection over there, and promote OG forum. But prospects are quite bleak tbh.
You're in NSW? Do you have any Gooner connections?

Two days on the forum and already less popular than a red headed step son. Going well! No, not winding anyone up. You lads call em gingers - we call em rangas and their nicknames are unanimously bluey - but i digress.

Thanks Steve - i can already tell there are some interesting people on here - cool ones, friendly ones and of course the poor old sad sacks that think the sky is falling. Should have found this site 35 years ago - but then i suppose i probably would have had to invent the internets i suppose.

you don't sound like you know what your talking about mate, please elaborate
Ok Henry - i went and saw the game in question and I'd like to get a copy of the recording of it so i can watch it - both because it was a good trip but also because it was a 10 goal spectacular - I've used the acronym DVD on this occasion to represent a typical format one might use to keep said copy - to be honest i'm finding it hard to elaborate much more. Procure? - ie buy. Ummm does 'anyone' know how i might do that ie I am happy to accept any individuals advice.
I don't know what i'm talking about? Maybe it's the translation - I speak English but with an Australian twang however i didnt think that came through in writing. Perplexed somewhat.

Welcome to the forum Swifty. 8) Don't be put off by the lads that like to question why you believe what you do. Despite the strong feeling and belief of the majority of the forum users that Wenger's time at Arsenal is up, you will still get respect for holding your pro-Wenger views if the arguments you make in his support have more substance than 'Be careful what you wish for'!

Contrary to the apparently widely held belief of the few Wengerites that frequent here, this forum hasn't always been anti-Wenger and most of us would still rather have been proven wrong in having our misgivings with some of his decisions, than unfortunately have been proven right by the events that have unfolded over the past 4 or 5 seasons.  :banghead:

Anyway, glad to have another gooner from overseas - and especially Australia - on board. :barscarf: Despite the evidence, the majority of guys on here are a good bunch of lads and hopeful you'll still enjoy the debates and banter that spontaneously errupt on here. Remember that ultimately we all want the same thing - to be rich!!
