German Bundesliga and other Foreign Leagues Thread
Re: German Bundesliga Thread
Thing is with our German pals ,they get cheaper tickets earn more than the averge UK watching punter but still have the dress sense of an Iron Maiden fan .
Surely with all that extra wonga they'd dress a bit better ( Koln excepted).
Bayern Leverkusen and BMG are some of the scuffiest gits I've ever witnessed,Mullets denim jackets with Badges on em and silk wrists scarves ,URGH !
I get the Bundesliga on my cable , I refuse to pay Singtels 35 quid a month for the EPL ,the footballs good and has been for some time its just the organised fashion crime I cant stand .

Maiden live are a force to behold. Shame half them are WHU.

Blockheads are a great band - hard to think Dury's dead 13 years.

I don't really follow the GAA myself but always hate to see the Dubs lose. Especially to inbred culchie lickspittles like Cork!!

Re: German Bundesliga Thread
Dury was a spammer too (mash it up arry) but a personal fave .
Saw his last concert at the paladium ,Kirsty Mchol opened ,she's brown bread too ,mental night ,mo molam was there too and she didn last long either.
Blocheads are superb ,dereck the draw does the vocals now !

Re: German Bundesliga Thread
Hi,
thanks to everybody for the replies and thanks for letting this thread alive!
It should be a general thread about everything around the German Bundesliga so I'll try to update that from time to time and I'll try not to focus on BVB too much. Every comment, question around the Bundesliga is welcome.
@Rosie_titters, no I'm a virgin when it comes to bet on footie
but you can ask when you have a question on special matches via PM, maybe I can give some input.
Cheers,
Thomas

Re: German Bundesliga Thread
rosie if you want to make money off the bookies Welsh football is the way forward. Aside from Welsh Prem being massively predictable, PaddyPower (and often other outlets) lets you bet on Welsh League Div One online.
Hence most weeks players from our club ringing round their mates from other clubs on a Saturday morning to find out injury and availability news that the bookies don't have and then sticking 20 quid on a treble that almost always comes in. It's an absolute scandal but I know people that pocket a fairly substantial amount of money over a season doing it.

Re: German Bundesliga and other Foreign Leagues Thread
I don't really watch the brazilian league games, as I think they are a glorified sunday league match. Some attendances are of sunday league standards too, it's not unusual to see 2k at a serie A match.
Seedorf, at the age of 38 is bossing the league and is taking his Botafogo to unusual heights. who would say that experience and leadership can make young players flourish
Anything you want to know on players or clubs, just ask.
I do like the Bundesliga, it's fun direct football. I watched the Schalke - HSV 3-3 draw this weekend. Very interesting match. I really think Höwedes would be a great addition to our side. but at this point, who wouldn't!
ps. having spent two months in hamburg last year and living in St. pauli, i have a bit of a soft spot for them now. amazing fans, just amazing.

I think everyone likes St. Pauli, and if they don't, they should. A proper old school club.RioGooner wrote:I don't really watch the brazilian league games, as I think they are a glorified sunday league match.
