Weekend's other games

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We're fucked as it stands - thin squad, tactically inept manager. Only world class players (or Wenger walking away) can save our season from being the same old top 4 bollocks as always.
The way it's going, we might not even finish in top four this season

Two seasons ago nobody gave us a prayer when after 3 games we had 1 point and had shipped 10 goals......but the fact remains that in this overrated league it still isn't hard to come 4th.

Normally I'd agree completely however our squad is not only weak, it's incredibly thin. If the Clueless one doesn't strengthen it then it could be a real possibility.

Agreed. As it stands, I make Sp*rs favourites. A lot can happen in 2 weeks though... or nothing, depending on Wenger and his crack team of negotiators

Palace are having a dig - might have to trade up. Arsenal is getting a bit fancy for me.

I've just watched the first hour of the scums game, they are very average without the chimp.
Not one of there new signings look better than average.
And were very lucky to be awarded a pen.

As per usual, we may have to count on the averageness of Sp*rs, Liverpool and co. to help us secure 4th again :rubchin:

Doesn't matter. They're still better than us and they have a board and manager with ambition. They'll always push on while we'll continue to go backwards with the current regime.

Signing Lloris would have killed Szczesny(i wish)

Seeing as he's part of the group "every single player in the world"
I can only assumed that he was no better than what we have already. Honestly, don't you get it mate? He wasn't any better than Fabiabski so what would have been the point of signing him eh ?
