The most pathetic Arsenal performances...
Re: The most pathetic Arsenal performances...
The 4-4 at Newcastle was a disgrace.4-0 up and we threw it away.Never happened before in the prem never will happen again.Another first for Wenger
4-0 Man Utd Fa Cup 2008 9,000 Gooners travelled up to OT.Laid down and let Utd tickle our tummies. We were top at the time by 6 points.Guess who won the title?
4-0 v Milan couldnt be fucking bothered.Gutless.Wenger brought on Henry at half time we were so bad
Bradford last season a vitual full strength team outplayed by a league one team

One that doesn't seem to come up too often is 5-0 at home to Chelsea in the League Cup during I think 1997/98 season. Wenger played a reserve team and we got our asses handed to us.

It's a forum. Nobody is stopping you from opening that thread and I don't doubt it would get a fair number of responses and decent discussion. Although I get the sense you'd rather spend time whingeing about other people's posts.afcforever wrote:Personally, I would rather read about the great Arsenal performances, but hey fuck that wouldn't happen on this forum

That has and does happen on here. However if all you want is a constant stream of wonderful memories and none of the accompanying realities, then there are plenty of other Arsenal websites that provide that kind of service which you may prefer to frequent instead.afcforever wrote:Personally, I would rather read about the great Arsenal performances, but hey fuck that wouldn't happen on this forum

If we only talk about good times then we are as bad as the plastic Man u and victims fans that pollute this part of the world....Worst most pathetic performance for me was yesterday, the 2-3 home defeat by Spuds when we were two up, historically the Arsenal defeat that exposed many myths at the time was the 1-3 at home to Benfica European Cup 1991.afcforever wrote:Personally, I would rather read about the great Arsenal performances, but hey fuck that wouldn't happen on this forum

Seriously, why do we want to be reminded of pathetic Arsenal performances?Bradywasking wrote:If we only talk about good times then we are as bad as the plastic Man u and victims fans that pollute this part of the world....Worst most pathetic performance for me was yesterday, the 2-3 home defeat by Spuds when we were two up, historically the Arsenal defeat that exposed many myths at the time was the 1-3 at home to Benfica European Cup 1991.afcforever wrote:Personally, I would rather read about the great Arsenal performances, but hey fuck that wouldn't happen on this forum

Agree with everything posted so far but would have to add Schalke at home last season which came a few days after the performance at Norwich which could only be described as pathetic, if you want to put it politely

2-2 at wigan just after we had beaten the chavs 3-1 we were 2-1 up against 10 men
is up there along with the 3-2 defeat fron 2up against them too.The 2-0 cup defeat at sunderland a couple of years back was pathetic aswell.

Blackburn last season. Countless away games usually up north at places like Bolton, Blackburn and Stoke when we couldn't be arsed. A 3-1 defeat at Bolton around 2006/7 sticks in the mind as it was my lad's first away game, after which he declared he never wanted to go to another away game. He prefers away days to games at the bowl now

Re: The most pathetic Arsenal performances...
Like I said instead of moaning about the negativity, why don't you either start a thread on a positive topic (like best performances) or piss off to another forum where you don't feel compelled to whine and bitch constantly? Or both.afcforever wrote:Seriously, why do we want to be reminded of pathetic Arsenal performances?Bradywasking wrote:If we only talk about good times then we are as bad as the plastic Man u and victims fans that pollute this part of the world....Worst most pathetic performance for me was yesterday, the 2-3 home defeat by Spuds when we were two up, historically the Arsenal defeat that exposed many myths at the time was the 1-3 at home to Benfica European Cup 1991.afcforever wrote:Personally, I would rather read about the great Arsenal performances, but hey fuck that wouldn't happen on this forum
