am i the only person to not enjoy that 4-4 game? great spectacle granted but flappy and the defence had me nearly smashing my tv up! :banghead:
I hated it. Even though we'd already thrown away the Spurs 4-4 game and had an indifferent league season, that Liverpool game was when I really realised how spineless we were. It wasn't even the being pegged back 4 times that riled me - it was going 4-3 up in the 90th minute and then hanging on by the skin of our teeth for a point. And the lack of surprise that came with it.

Baptista's 4 goal haul at Anfield as our reserves beasted their first team 6-3 in the league cup, then knocking them out the facup again at anfield in the same week 3-1.

Puyol getting sent off and cesc scoring the consequent penalty with a broken leg as somehow we came back from being 2-0 to draw 2-2 with the great Barcelona team, in a game we didn't get a chance to string two passes together for the first 29 minutes. Incredible game of football.

Eboue's cross, Henry's header as we beat utd in last minute as home 2007.

back to back 5-1 wins vs spuds at home, 5-3 away at chavs, 7-3 home to Newcastle, the incredible 7-5 game at reading. 6-0 vs wigan home in league cup. 3-1 away at stoke in the ramsey leg break game.

Does grimandi's tackle on edgar davids in DB10 testimonial count?

Flappy was immense in that game especially the first half where he made several outstanding saves. They should've been 5 up before arshavin got the first. The outstanding moment in that game was when they equalised for 4-4, the ball was kicked towards the dugouts and in frustration wenger lashed out at the ball, hitting it on the half volley and it smacked a Liverpool defender on the back of the head...

Clutching at straws a bit now

Beating the Spuds, Chavs, Mickeys and Plastics fair enough, but meaningless wins against piss poor opposition, no :? If we're going to include some of these we might as well include showing great mental strength at Bayern last season

Barrel has been well and truly scraped

Although was brilliant when Grimandi snapped Davids and then had a huge smirk on his face before they missed the pen :barscarf:

Don't forget those final 5 minutes against Newcastle. Down to 10 men having just shipped 4 goals in 15 minutes, not many teams would have hung on for the point. Kudos to Wenger and co. for showing the mental toughness to get through it

Agreed! Was my first visit to the Arsenal since 1996 - and anyone complaining about ticket prices just think how much it costs to get to a game from Australia :) Also Tezza Henry making his first return on loan.

wow. i didn't realise you lot were so depressed....

I can think of loads -

1. Ramseys goals this season.
2. Henry's cameo goal.
3. the Reading Comeback.
4. Eduardos comeback.
5. 6-2 away at Derby (adebayor scored a hatrick.twat). 4-1 away at Everton
6. the link up play between Cesc and RvP
7. Loads of RvP's goals.
8. Vela's hatrick versus Sheff Utd. twat. we won 6-0.
9. destroying a good Porto side 4-0.
10. Walcotts goals against the chavs, the 'get up and go' goal especially.
11. Being outplayed by Fenebache but still beating them 5-2 over there. turkish twats.
12. Nasri's dribbling it in.twat.
13. Beating Roma in the Olympic stadium on pens. knifing eyetie twats.
14. Being outplaying by liverpool at anfield but drawing due to a quadtrick from arshavin.twat.
15. Vermaelens left foot volleys
16. Per & kos's headers.
17. Winning 6-1 at goodison on opening day. even a goal from Denilson.twat.
18. Bentdners hatrick in the CL against Porto. we won 4-0. twat.
19 Welcoming blackpool to the PL - with a 6-0 win. Wally got his 1st ever hattrick. even diaby and chamakh scored.twats.
20. our kids going to the Lane and pounding their first XI 4-1 to knock them out of the fizzy pop cup.
21. ditto at newcastle. (4-0)
22. coming back to beat a complacent Barca 2-1. Messi & Villa gutted at FT.
23. beating the chavs 5-3 at theirs. even santos scored.twat.
24. 0-2 to 5-2 up. i almost started a new fanzine...
25. murdering blackburn 7-1. RvP had 3 shots 3 goals. ox also almost got a hattrick.
26. 0-1 to 5-2 up, a year later still fun.
27. Caz's hatrick at reading - we won 5-2 again. probably the best solo performance since Na$ri's double against the mickeys.twat.
28. the Newcastle 7-3. we went in 1-0 up at HT...wally got a hatrick again, and Giroud almost got one too.

our manager may be a YKK challenged mannaquin, but we have watched some wonderful talent in the last 8 years - before they sodded off for more cash and medals.twats.

now stop being so sodding miserable :D

Sorry I didn't mean it that way - of course he is a legend. I really meant brining back an aging ex-player instead of finding a long term solution

the best first half I have ever seen at the Emirates came when we played Milan in the CL 2 or 3 years ago.
admittedly being 4-0 down we were always going to struggle  but when we went in at half time 3-0 up I remember the place being absolutely buzzing. i havent experienced a half time atmosphere like that since.
Van Persie also missed a great chance in the 2nd half. if that had gone in...

No mention of the win at the Bernebeu

Such a good trip, pockets of Arsenal all over the stadium, I was in the back row of the very top tier behind the goal, ridiculous seat, lovely view of Thierry's goal.

The 2-0 win against Juve in the next round, Pires of all people producing a fantastic slide tackle on Vieira to start the move for Cesc's goal.

Bendys header with his first touch just after mallet face had missed a penalty in the 2-1 win, watched this game in a very dingy bar with a load of Maoris somewhere in NZ, must have been about 4 in the morning.

The Dennis Bergkamp day in the last season at Highbury, 2-0 against West Brom and he scored the second goal as we turned Highbury orange.

The last game at Highbury, very emotional, people being chased up the road carrying their seats, and of course the perfect goodbye, clinching the CL spot, lasagne, Thierry hat trick.

Coming back from 2-0 at Bolton with 10 men to win 3-2
