The coup de grace in Munich

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

It's obviously an almost impossible ask, but still... you can't simply throw in the towel without trying.

Genuinely hope we try and win this.

Well our 'reserves' have actually done better than the first team on more than one occasion this year.

I'll just be very very cross if per or ox go down. Or giroud. Can you imagine city at Wembley and starting with Agonos ????

I'm not bothered about the result bar a big loss but swap out ox and olly for gnabry n pod and that's a good imho.

I think we should play our strongest team

I don't agree with the negativity over this match.
Why not at least try and build on the momentum created by the win today?

Let's face it the league has gone and the top 4 will take care of itself. There is still a break of 5 days before Spurs anyway.
It might be a bit harder but 25 years ago we won by 2 goals at Anfield to win the league - a 3-1 win in Munich will do nicely :barscarf:

He'll play his strongest (in his mind) eleven without a shadow of a doubt. He wouldn't want to"kill" the kids by throwing them into a potential mauling in Bavaria.

Best I think the lads can do is try to put in a good performance and leave with heads held high. Today's win was a much needed kick up the arse.

Personally I'm resigned the fact we likely won't go through. Our best chance is the FA Cup.

Send out the reserves and concentrate on the League and Cup. Even if, by some miracle, we managed to go through we'd only get knocked out by Barca, PSG or Madrid anyway.

The crazy old fool seems to think we could give Bayern Munich a game, win even, lets hope they are as easy as Everton, but not as tough as Stoke.

This season has been the most unpredictable for us for years- we will either just steal it or loose heavily.

Before the red card we were giving them a few troubles, we could still win a cup double, more chance of that than the Pl now
