Bob Wilson

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Sorry to hear this. Met Bob a few times over at Highbury and the Conglomerates. Once with my missus in tow at her first ever match. Just saw Bob walking up to Highbury and said hi and he said hi back and stopped for a quick chat. Top bloke. Then my bro and I were in Club level at the Conglomerates for Bolton in 07 or 08 and Bob was sat there with a couple having a quiet drink. We politely asked if he'd mind posing for a quick photo and gentleman that he is he said sure no problem. Just a great guy. 8)

His gentlemanly constructive criticism is to be admired.
His love of everything Arsenal is to be respected.

Best wishes to Bob Wilson. An Arsenal legend.
Very well put TL...loved Willow on the pitch, but remember his celebration behind the Liverpool goal when Charlie got the winner in the 1987 Littlewoods Cup Final , neutral BBC reporter our Bob was that day . :D :barscarf:

You have a lot of respect for people who come from other parts of the country, play for arsenal and become one of us. Bob is Arsenal through and through, you can just tell every time he talks about arsenal in the media he's giving a fans view rather than a pundits.

Get well soon Bob, proper gent.

Legend is such an over-used world in this day and age,but Bob Wilson is a true legend and a total gentleman, some of these modern day clown players couldn't hold a candle to this man.
