Bob Wilson

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Now here is a thoroughly old school decent bloke.
If ever there was a man to be profoundly proud of, albeit as a relation, model professional or mentor then (sir) Bob deserves a mention.
His Willow Foundation is up there with the best charitable organisations.
His gentlemanly constructive criticism is to be admired.
His love of everything Arsenal is to be respected.

Best wishes to Bob Wilson. An Arsenal legend.

Best wishes to bob.

My dad had that last year and he's fine now - if they catch it early enough it's curable with just radiotherapy.

I hope we win the Cup for Bob and Pat this year.

I remember getting his autograph many, many years ago. A gentleman, a Gooner through and through and a very brave goalkeeper. Get well soon.

One of the nicest people I have met from any walk of life.

No need to add much to what Top Londoner wrote so well above, except to say that Bob Wilson's bravery on the pitch will surely be matched by his bravery as fights this disease.

To echo Quartz's views, had the absolute pleasure to meet him doing the Highbury Legend tour, he was an incredibly warm guy, genuinely interested in my daughter's football, when he learned she was playing at a centre of excellence and made her sit next to him in the press room as " Arsenal's new signing"

Top, top man - and still loves Arsenal to the core.

Best Wishes Willow.

He should lead the team out in the final if he's able.

Get well soon Bob.

Cannot have put it bette than Top L.

I have enromous respect for a man that has NEVER ever said a bad word against the club despite being ungraciously removed by Wenger !
