THE COST OF FOOTBALL/BBC REPORT/Ticket Prices

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ed Hunter The Gooner wrote:Here is an interesting article about PL ticket prices. Nothing new I guess for you guys who goes to the games... Arsenal of course is the most expensive in both match day and season tickets. What I didn't know is that ManCity has cheapest season tickets in whole PL, that's about three times cheaper than Arsenal's...

Have you been to Eastlands? The area is a complete shithole. They would never put up with Arsenal type ticket pricing.

BVB get 1,000 English fans a home game every week :

i have to be honest, i'd go myself if i could.

interesting that German fans think English grounds are boring and sterile since we priced out the real fans too.

Aim to go and pay a visit myself this season (haven't been to the Emirates for over 2 seasons now)

Don't plan to return till Wenker goes.
