FA Cup 2014 - 2015

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I hope we get an away tie, so the ST holders can try and hold onto some credits instead of spunking them on the likes of Coventry City like last year

Don't give a fcuk - the last fa cup success seen le cock rewarded with a new 3 year contract so one has to ask if winning the cup would be good for the club

Long term, short term either way, winning the FA Cup is a good thing.

I loved winning that FA Cup for alot of different reasons. But I still firmly believe that winning it didn't extend Arsene's deathgrip - oops, sorry - tenure, by even one day. Similarly, us losing it would not have cut it short by even one day. Arsene only has to deliver 4th spot and the CL money & "prestige" ( ) and our board are happy. I've said it once, I've said it a million times, Arsene will leave when Arsene wants to leave, no sooner and no later. If a 9 year (that's NEARLY A DECADE THERE FOLKS!!! ) trophy drought wasn't enough to motivate our board to replace him, does anyone really think not winning the FA Cup would? REALLY?? :|

So I personally enjoyed the day, the build up, the game, the win, the victory parade, the whole thing.

Love the FA Cup, love winning it love the line from the song about "the Gunner's colours on the Cup " But for Arsene PLC the Cup is not a priority and winning it was a bonus the real achievement was virtual.

Would like Bristol or Wrexham away. Would be a distraction from our crap league campaign. Saying that well probably end up drawing Stoke/Sunderand away!

I fancy Birmingham, crap place but lots of drinking to be had around the station and easy on the train. Plus we'd probably get the top and bottom of that stand, about 7k.
