FA Cup 2014 - 2015
So I don't really care, I'm guessing most fans don't really care, but it's the only competition we have a chance in this season. Any preferences for the draw? I just want an away draw somewhere with a big allocation, lots of Gooners on the piss, but it'll be some shit at home no doubt.
Re: FA Cup
If we can manage to avoid Stoke away or Manchester City, Chelsea or Man U anywhere all the way to the final then we have a chance again
If we the draw pairs us against any of them then our season will be over by early January and we can officially be as fucking pathetically sad as that lot from up the road

I care more about it than the pathetic race for 4th. But I don't think we have a hope in hell of winning it.Mistical92 wrote:So I don't really care, I'm guessing most fans don't really care

Away to a lower league side for a change of scenery or away to someone decent for a good away day. Just not a home tie against someone shit.

Re: FA Cup 2014 - 2015
Wenger did his best to throw this away last year. Thankfully when he decided to rest players in every round until the final, it helped us because it brought some freshness from our stagnating league campaign. Anybody who thinks he gives a shit about this needs to remember that he started Yaya Sanogo against Liverpool and at Wembley against Wigan. If we avoid getting drawn against one of the 'usual three' or a tricky away draw we might have half a chance of playing a few sides shit enough to let us play like shit for most of the game and still win.

Dover away or Blackpool away.

Be interesting what happens if we draw Dover at home.
Will it still be category B prices?
No fucking way am I paying £50 in the upper tier to watch Dover!

Both clubs have to agree pricing for FA Cup games, so I doubt it would be Cat B, maybe Cat C though. Still wouldn't pay that though.Gunner Rob wrote:Be interesting what happens if we draw Dover at home.

Really want a nice away day to a lower league side to give some of the younger lads a good run out, i think the FA Cup should be taken more seriously than it has been recently but as most wont then lets give some of our aspiring players the lime light for a game.
You never know they might even do something spectacular...![barscarf :barscarf:](./images/smilies/icon_barscarf.gif)

be surprised if it is category C because these games are included on the season ticket.Mistical92 wrote:Both clubs have to agree pricing for FA Cup games, so I doubt it would be Cat B, maybe Cat C though. Re: FA Cup 2014 - 2015
i stated on this forum months ago that this season in particular we will just throw this competition.
2 reasons
1) we won it last season and the club therefore will feel this has been "done". Too much silverware will increase demands by supporters don't forget and the club don't want this. look at the problems some elements of the fanbase are causing already this season.
2) this year 3rd round day is TWO days after the New Years Day matches. Ridiculous! it has been devalued enough. this will be the final nail in the coffin for the cup i fear.

Hope we get knocked out first game, preferably in humiliating fashion, there must be no salvation for Wenker or his flock this season.

Wouldn't mind the Scum at home again. At least take something positive from this shit season by dumping them out again
