would quite like to see FA cup games on a Friday night but not sure about the PL - fewer and fewer Saturday 3pm games the obvious consequence

I'm not opposed to the idea - depends where you live really. Londoners may be more inclined to heading straight from work for a few beers and freeing the weekend up, whereas those who travel a significant distance and savour the 'whole day' experience are less likely to enjoy it.

it was 5-0 and Henry scored 4. The last one was whilst he was falling to the ground after being shoved off the ball.

Lost one to Newcastle if my memory serves me correctly.

Won 3-2 in that game if I remember rightly

I think he was actually tripped from behind by Harte? :rubchin: Great finish as he fell. 8)

Football on a Friday night... made be think about Anfield '89 so I'm in favour! :barscarf:
I'm actually a bit against because of May 89. I like the fact so much about that game was different, including the time slot and day. It's not the end of the world, but I'd rather Friday night football not become a regular thing in the PL. :|

It was a brilliant goal, Henry in his pomp.

By Christ he was good.

I quite like the idea of this, especially on Fridays before a Champions league week. That extra day will be very welcome.

Apparently there was once a mythical age when football happened at 3pm on Saturdays.
