Of course the fact that they went almost their entire history (before abramasonofabitch artifically changed the market  ) without winning anything of any real consequence, would escape him and the pikey, classless chav b.astards that NOW support that club

Can I also just agree with armchair and hlebby when they say that the whole money (and origin of it) moral argument is becoming embarrassing and pathetic  Life and sport are constantly changing and we all need to change with it, and the reality is that clubs need to spend money to be successful now so either bring our own sugar daddy on board (usmanov), or accept your place in life as also rans because there are many, many more clubs that dont have our resources and will never compete but dont spend their time crying about it
Augie, whatever the rights or wrongs of Mourinho's comments, you have to look behind them because there's always an underlying reason. He doesn't say anything without an agenda. And his agenda is different to our agenda.

And the moral arguement - morals and football have long since divorced. The arguement is really the extent to which the equation between money and monopoly allows you to take over and dominate, the point we've reached having become the worst in history and only getting worse.

A European Super League is coming.

:(

Not disagreeing with the suggestion that he is saying that with an agenda in his mind, but what I am saying is that it is impossible to argue with the point that performing like we have for 10 years is boring for a club of our stature
I also understand with your reference to the extent of which morals have become detatched from football, but my point is that we all know that they have become detatched and the extent of it is irrelevent because it stops us dealing with the reality of the current situation

Maurine is a master tactician. And has won another title.
But he's had more than a little bit of luck this time. They came to the Grove and got the point they were playing for. Fair enough.
But their previous two matches got them six points. They had a grand total of three shots on target over the two previous games. At home to manyoo they only had 30% possession. AT HOME.
They are lucky fuckers in my book.
And now they are getting some stick for being boring, they are asking the whole world to love and respect them. Seriously FUCK OFF you classless fuckturds.
Rant over. Carry on. :D

God that was fucking boring, 5 mins to go and bring on a third defensive midfielder. Nothing like winning it in style ehhh chelski,

I was prepared to give Moaninho a wide berth after he seemed to calm down last year, but he's back to his old ways. No doubt they deserved to win the league, but the punters pay an absolute fortune to watch prem teams these days and deserve to be entertained, not fucking hold on to a 1-0 lead at home vs a mid table average side.

That's not even close to the point. They HAVE closed the title out regardless of today's result. How about turning on the style for their fans ? Remember 1998 vs Everton???!!!!

The thing that irritates me and that's why I started this thread is their fans/manager's general attitude. Being accused of playing boring football is merely the tip of the iceberg.

If you also reflect back to when we where boring, we had cup finals like in 79, the 87 league cup semi plus Anfield 89 to mention a few.

The thread title is boring boring Chelsea ffs. And you keep posting about how boring tbey are. Well they're not boring imo. They have already played with flair and attack minded football to get to this point today. All they had to do was close it out and they did.
Anyway defensive football is good enough for me. We did it for years under Graham and I loved it and I loved it when oppo fans called us boring and showed just how small minded and stupid they were........ just like you are being now.

They are Champions and we didn't compete for the title at any point of this season. that is more important than the style they won it in.

3rd place. Out the title race before Xmas. 16 points behind a team we finished 3 behind last season. £100m spent by Wenger. Watching Cesc pick up the league and achieve in one year what he couldn't in 8 under AW. No longer the best club in London. From Chelski's bogey team to their bitches. How boring of Chelski to win the league so convincingly, defend so astutely and get more points than everyone. Much sooner play pretty football and win the CL qualification trophy.
And of course, we don't at all sound like those Spuds who mocked us under GG for being "boring". What was it we said? Ah yes. They win sod all, so they would say that wouldn't they!

Chelsea deserve to be winners.

Surely this boring talk is just something to wind them up, and for some strange reason they get charged up over it.

Winning is all that matters, having said that, I hate Chelsea and I always will, there were some sickening scenes today.

I wish them great misfortune in their future endeavours.

Maybe with the game poised at 1-0 to them they should have chucked 8 outfield players in the opposition half? And then conceded 3 on the break and end up drawing 4-4 or something - I mean, that's what fans pay for right? It's hilarious reading Gooners talk about how the Chavs fans are not getting value for money. This from the team with the most expensive ST in Europe and yet had come nowhere hear a title in over a decade
If getting value for money is watching the same predictable collapses year after year, as Monaco pump you at home, then no thanks! .
