Newcastle 1-1
Hull 0-1 Burnley
Hull 0-1 Burnley
Re: Relegation Battle
Hull slip closer to the drop, to join those small time c.unts from Loftus Road. Shame Burnley couldn't have dug their way out above the Barcodes to make it a perfect treble but never mind

Re: Relegation Battle
Anything that avoids the media loving "us small Northern clubs that loves us football" is worth hoping for. QPR going today, never had an opinion on that club until 'ARRY arrived there to destroy them , now have no sympathy for them. They need to go away and rebuild into a club that is comfortable in their own size.
I would like to see Newcastle go down also because it would be nice to say to Ashley and his cronies "you had a club , biggish club with solid support and you fucked it up" In fact if Newcastle do go down then Ashley should be prosecuted and banned from football for crimes against the game and the club.
Think it will be Hull , no sympathy there either, maybe we could recreate the famous commentary from the 2014 Cup Final .." look at th Brucie..just stoood there "

Re: Relegation Battle
I really want the barcodes to go ,any team that advertises legalised loan sharks on their shirts deserves it !
I have a soft spot for QPR and the mackems but Rangers need a miracle and i think its between sLAND and Hull for the 3rd spot.

QPR are just a shit Chelsea. Horrible day out, tiny stadium. Just fuck off.

have a feeling we will be sending sunderland down last match of the season. sorry safcftm
would love to see hull go back down where they belong though. they have the mancs last game of the season, could easily be in a position where we beat sunlun but they survive anyway. perfect

Hull are down. Won't get a single point from either of their remaining fixtures. Need 4 from scum away and united at home.
Winner of Sunderland/Leceister is safe this weekend. Geordies should be able to get something from a disinterested QPR.

Having done so well with his 'buy past it players and give them massive salaries' strategy at Portsmouth, Arry has brought his successful formula to QPR with equally stunning results.
I think they still owe a massive fine to the Football League and their financial position will be dire next season. They'll be joining Pompey in the race to the bottom.
I feel sorry for the fans of both clubs, but it shows the dangers of foreign, football-ignorant owners who fall for the open Range Rover window routine.

From what I am hearing this morning QPR may be banned from the Championship and may face a second relegation over an unpaid fine. This is very much open to correction as I am hearing it on an Irish sports broadcast that does not always get it right.GranadaJoe wrote:Having done so well with his 'buy past it players and give them massive salaries' strategy at Portsmouth, Arry has brought his successful formula to QPR with equally stunning results.

QPR were disinterested yesterday when they had a mathematical chance of survival. Geordies ok so.gp543 wrote:Hull are down. Won't get a single point from either of their remaining fixtures. Need 4 from scum away and united at home.

No bother mate, I was thinking you might relegate us but if it happens it happens, we've been woeful all season and for most of the last one so it will hardly be undeserved! We should stay up now like but spurs are a worry as they look totally disinterested, might be another twist yet.Henry Norris 1913 wrote:have a feeling we will be sending sunderland down last match of the season. sorry safcftm![]()

If we stay up it'll be a very hollow victory tbh, bored of the whole league, bored of watching about five wins a season and bored of starting a season knowing we can't hope to ever really challenge. I want us to survive because you want your club as high as possible but if we go down I might actually start enjoying games again, this season has been a chore and increasingly I've found myself wishing I'd just stayed in the pub

I think that most Gooners feel the same way about our annual race for 4th place
