CL Group Stage Draw

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Not really arsed about pot 3.
Pot 4 Gladbach or Wolfsburg please, nice little trip to Germany. Ghent would be a tiny allocation (20,000 capacity and they've got something like 17,000 ST holders). Malmö I've already been. Astana would be a belter of a trip but finances wouldn't allow me to go so hope to fuck we don't draw them (for selfish reasons obviously).
We can't get Real Madrid - they are in the losers pot 2 with us.
I am going for PSV, Olympiakos and Ghent which would be the easiest and most boring group ever

Every single time I hear or read about psv, I think about that useless Belarus c.unt (hleb) and how he cost us against them in the champs league a few years back
Hleb...  :banghead:

I've never seen a player with such amazing tight control, dribbling ability and top technique who was also absolutely fucking useless! Fucking circle dribbler.

Me and SteveO off to Greece like a couple of modern day Shirley Valentine's to see Wenger play the stiffs against Olympiakos in match day 6 would be the (wet) dream fixture for me :barscarf:
You seem very keen on this anal holiday with SteveO, Rodders. Very keen. :rubchin:

Will you refer to him as "Nat" and make him dress up in a tight lurid yellow dress and lurid yellow ballgag?

Oh yeah, and me in my gimp mask, crutches and Diaby jersey to complete the fantasy :barscarf:

Does anyone know if it's quite easy to get tickets for the away games in the group stages. Do you need a million credits?
Depends on the fixture. Somewhere like Gent with a small ground might not even go past away scheme. Germany is pretty popular and usually sells out early; the further away it is the easier it is to get tickets. I can't even imagine how many we would bring to Kazakhstan

Tbh getting a tough b*stard draw and finishing bottom of the group wouldnt sadden me a bit - serious failure in this competition is the only way any serious pressure and spotlight will fall on le cock 8)
Serious failure?

Every single year bar '06 has been a serious failure in Europe under this bulbeye (cheers, Falkirk Goon) and yet he walks on water still. I know you mean crash out at the group stage but even that wouldn’t dent this Teflon Autocrat.

I was gonna add '04 but then I thought: "fuck it"; we should have won it that year.

If we drew the side from Kazakhstan and the club or "spit" Red Action "spit" left Borat masks on every seat at the Bowl, I might just consider breaking my six year long CL duck :barscarf:

I remember when CL draw brought great excitement into my life.

Fast forward 15 years and I can't even muster the enthusiam to pretend to be excited. You know we will finish 2nd and you know we'll go out at last 16, the quarters if we're lucky!

I/me/you are Bill Murray until a young manager with fresh ideas and a new approach moves Wenger aside.

(Allegedly) this wouldnt attract any of the mods unless Borat mankines were on every seat and it was mandatory to wear them.

Quite like a group with us, Juventus, Lyon and Dinamo Zagreb. Tricky but we could pull it off.

How about Zenit, Galatasaray and Astana? Good for the air miles and 3 months worth of excuses for Wenker.

The good news is Monaco are not in it this year, the club that put us out in March didn't even qualify.

See the draw is taking place in the south of France, strange that Scunthorpe or Cleethorpes never get a look in :rubchin:

that champs league music intro. I bloody detest it.
I use to get the butterflies when I heard it.
Rather like the FA cup draw that use to take place on a Monday morning.
Fuck off Wenger, you've killed my passion for this competition now.
