Boring. I hope we get Barcelona or Juventus.

Group of death would be Barcelona, Arsenal, Roma and Wolsfburg :barscarf:

Juventus, Arsenal, Sevilla, Wolfsburg. We'd have no chance.

So my post on the others isn't consigned to the cyber wilderness -

Me and SteveO off to Greece like a couple of modern day Shirley Valentine's to see Wenger play the stiffs against Olympiakos in match day 6 would be the (wet) dream fixture for me :barscarf:

Hope we get a tough draw.

The only remotely interesting CL group stage I can remember in recent time is when we were drawn with Dortmund, Napoli and Marseille because it wasn't a foregone conclusion and every game was a challenge.

You seem very keen on this anal holiday with SteveO, Rodders. Very keen. :rubchin:

Will you refer to him as "Nat" and make him dress up in a tight lurid yellow dress and lurid yellow ballgag?

:D

And then SteveO can repeat such gems as:

"There's not much happening at the moment" or "I don't know when the next big one's coming"

Dont give a fcuk who we get if I'm honest - I too believe that we will get a group containing shit teams from pots 3 and 4 thus ensuring progression to our annual last 16 capitulation

Tbh getting a tough b*stard draw and finishing bottom of the group wouldnt sadden me a bit - serious failure in this competition is the only way any serious pressure and spotlight will fall on le cock 8)

I have entered the ultimate wet dream into my early December diary. It simply reads "snatching 2nd place from the jaws of 1st"

Hopefully we'll get to see the next Quincy / Aliadiere show their 'great potential' before losing 1-0 and securing a draw against Real, Barca or Bayern in February. Our moral victory in the second leg of that match will then send us on the dizzying run that culminates in wet wipe heaven against Villa in May.

5pm the time of the draw for this

I am hoping we get Barcelona and then Barcelona away in matchday 1.
We will then have a proper test of Barcelona away, Chelsea away and Spurs away within the space of a week :D

I will look forward to that as I read a few weeks ago that Lord Harris expects us to challenge strongly for the title and the Champions League. He is going to look a bit stupid if that is not the case isnt he

You are all forgetting the dream draw against Astana of Kazakhstan. Wenger would love that long trip as an extra excuse in his armoury.

Hope we draw a German side. Would never go to Italy or some Eastern European Countries.

Does anyone know if it's quite easy to get tickets for the away games in the group stages. Do you need a million credits?

Real, Barcelona or Bayern in pot 1 please. No fucking about.
Not really arsed about pot 3.
Pot 4 Gladbach or Wolfsburg please, nice little trip to Germany. Ghent would be a tiny allocation (20,000 capacity and they've got something like 17,000 ST holders). Malmö I've already been. Astana would be a belter of a trip but finances wouldn't allow me to go so hope to fuck we don't draw them (for selfish reasons obviously).

We can't get Real Madrid - they are in the losers pot 2 with us.
I am going for PSV, Olympiakos and Ghent which would be the easiest and most boring group ever

Every single time I hear or read about psv, I think about that useless Belarus c.unt (hleb) and how he cost us against them in the champs league a few years back
