Ticket Sales Getting Out Of Hand

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

the only way to prevent this is to make memberships and season ticket an annual arrangement and let others apply each season. no priority given to existing members etc etc.

some will argue i've been a season ticket holder 15 years and it's not fair for them and i completely agree, but we either do that or live with the way things are.

Dog eat dog sprngs to mind.
You're having a laugh ain't ya?

People should be rewarded for their Loyalty, why should you just have to start afresh each season? Say the first game was one of the big ones? and it's a free for all!?!

You probably need to think about your solution a little harder, maybe how to stop people passing on their tickets through forums like this instead. make it harder for people to shift them?

How do you think people got the top of the ladder? Yes you guessed it, travel everywhere, even mid-week, even when its on the TV, even abroad and even when you can't be bothered!

What really gets me is all these people that come onto forums looking for tickets for the 'BIG' games stating they are loyal, been here, there, everywhere, what rubbish.

Start going the the non-glamourous games, get your credits and STOP WHINGING!!

Couldnt agree more with the above - its like a lot of these 'fans' seem to think they have a god given right to expect a ticket to big games like this wihout having to go to the lesser games first - it really pi**es me off!!

There is a new scheme, whereby season ticket holders (gold/platinum members) who are not using their tickets for a game can sell them back to the club, and another member can buy them for that game.

Contact the club for exact details, though I believe you have to be a basic (red ) member to buy tickets in this way, it might be that you have to be at least a silver member.
