As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Cheers big ears.
Crazy how heavily Liverpool were favourited before it given Sevilla's record in the competition and Spanish clubs' record in Europe this season in particular.
Five finals on the bounce lost for Klopp - thought his rambling afterwards lacked a bit of grace actually (unless I missed the part where he congratulated Sevilla who on balance were the far better side and played far better football.
It's funny cos I was chatting a few customers this morning, and I was praising klopp for his press conference answers
Obviously for a while he was like a rabbit caught in the headlights, but after that I found him quite honest with his responses - yes he said that 4 big decisions went against them (an exaggeration), but he also said that his players reaction to conceding the first goal wasn't good enough. A journo asked him if he was surprised by the fact that his players seemed to lose their shape and confidence in the system, and he replied that it didn't surprise him cos he seen it and tried to change it. If that was le cock he would have come out with some bollox totally blaming the match officials, and totally excuse the unacceptable performance of his players

I'm guessing that more money was put on liverpool in this country thus bringing the odds down. Odds aren't always about who's best etc its about the bookies covering their arses and yet trying to entice people to bet

Plus Sevilla were on a really poor run of form losing 7 of their last 9 league games coming into this. Obviously they had more than one eye on the final but it's not easy to just turn on the style for one game when you've been drifting in the league for weeks. Anyway delighted they did, f.cuk the victims
It's never your fault,it's never your fauuuulllt. I remember after Heysel Liverpool fans were blaming Spurs fans.

No, an Everton-supporting Liverpool City Councillor heard some Chelsea fans on the ferry that they were going to the game looking for a fight. He told LFC Chairman John Smith, who having been to numerous away games with the club in Europe and having seen little trouble, extrapolated this story in shock and disbelief to some journalists. It may have been partly true, but it was ultimately an exaggeration. The vast majority of LFC fans accept that a significant proportion of the blame for Heysel resides with a couple of hundred of their own fans - and 29 of them went to jail.
This was clearly a case of Sevilla fans attacking some (probably mouthy) LFC fans who had got tickets in the Sevilla end.
