Funny enough some guy did last night after the loss, mind you he blamed Madueke for losing the game cos he missed a pen in the shoot out after we had already lost the game b4 pens were taken
Bloody retro!

I fear that come the end of October, they'll be on the heavy pyschedelic gear, either LSD, or some nice natural psilocybin fuelled mushrooms.
As McD (?) said, you'd think Arteta would start / go with the same line-up he intends to play against manure in the opening fixture:

Raya.
Timber, Saliba, Gabriel (if fit enough, if not Kiwior) and MLS
Ohdeargawd, Zubimendi & Decca's
Saka. Gyokere's & Martinelli

I watched the opening 20 - 25 minutes of the Manure v Fiorintini (friendly) on Drogon earlier and Amorim has Mbueno on the right flank, Cunha on the left flank with Fernandes running the show from midfield playing both short & long balls to both and how they didn't beat fiorinitni by a significant margin was ironically all down to De Gea who had a very good game. Manure have also been copying our corner tactics with players coming in late either from in front or behind... In particular Amad, Mbeuno & Cunha looked Sharp and their interplay looked dangerous.augie wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 12:59 pmOneBardGooner wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 12:37 pmAs McD (?) said, you'd think Arteta would start / go with the same line-up he intends to play against manure in the opening fixture:

Tbh if he was picking today's team based on next week then he should probably be tweaking his system too (not that I expect either) - I honestly dont rate manure much as a team, but the one area that does concern me next week is the area between our midfield and defence where the 10's normally operate cos they will be playing with two 10's and we are so vulnerable to counter attacks. If I was picking the team next week I would have rice and zubimendi sitting in front of our back 4, and I would play a number 10 that would predominantly play central (in other words the disappearing pri*k would not see game time). If we rock up next week in old shatford with the coward out hiding in saka's shadow, and rice playing mostly down our left wing, then I will predict that we will get raped down the middle and mbeumo will look world class
So basically what you're saying is he's a c.unt.
Ohdeargod, absolutely undroppable, let’s see how undroppable he is when legoheads employment is on the line.mcdowell42 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 09, 2025 3:09 pmArsenal XI vs. Athletic Club: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice, Ødegaard; Saka, Martinelli; Gyökeres.
